This hymn was written in honor of Ms. Margaret Frisbee, and her husband the late Rev. Bill Frisbee. Ms. Frisbee was the director of a youth choir in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, named “His People.� The ministry of His People blessed many young singers that joined the choir, including the author. As we grow older, life is catching up to us, but we have eternal joy to look forward to as a result of Mr. and Ms. Frisbee’s gospel ministry to us – our leaders loved us. Taken in a more general context, all that is true of the His People youth choir, is also true of all of God’s people in the church. Let us thank Him for His People. The hymn is in SATB piano score (hymn) format for congregational singing, choral singing, ensemble, or solo; whether acapella, or with piano accompaniment. We'll Be Together Again is a 1945 popular song composed by Carl T. Fischer, with lyrics by Frankie Laine. Fischer was Laine's pianist and musical director when he composed the tune, and Laine was asked to write the lyrics for it. The Pied Pipers were the first to release the song, and as well as Laine. it has since been recorded by such notable vocalists as Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Lou Rawls and Tony Bennett.

Thanks, John. All That Jazz is a song from the 1975 musical Chicago.  It has music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, and is the opening song of the musical. The title of the 1979 film, starring Roy Scheider as a character strongly resembling choreographer/stage and film director Bob Fosse, is derived from the song.  Liza Minnelli recorded a single version in 1975 and has  also performed it many times in concert.
