Survivors of some strange social shipwreckÂ
we swim seperately to shoreÂ
There to sit with heads in handsÂ
not speaking to each other any moreÂ
We were a group a single bodyÂ
united in our purposeÂ
Now isolated helplessÂ
communication contact lostÂ
the fragments of some past mosaic wholeÂ
now each a single coloured splinterÂ
without guidance or controlÂ
The kaleidoscope is shakenÂ
the pattern disappearsÂ
the fragments rearrangingÂ
A new design appearsÂ
we take on new identitiesÂ
abandonning the pastÂ
Memories of our former tiesÂ
are all that's left at last.
