Robert Newth #6191035. Published by Robert Newth (A0.845741). Set to a traditional tune, the words of Scots Wha Hae were written by Robert Burns in 1793, in the style of a rousing pre-battle speech by Robert the Bruce before the Battle of Bannockburn. It is often thought of as one of Scotland's unofficial national anthems, and remains one of Burns' more popular songs.Lyrics to all three verses are included along with a suggested piano part, although if you'd prefer, you can play the chords on the guitar, ukulele or on any other instrument. If you like this arrangement, please leave a review.

Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1170438 By Marlene Dietrich. By Hans Leip, Norbert Schultze, and Tommie Connor. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. 20th Century,Historic,Multicultural,Patriotic,Traditional,World. Score. 5 pages. Scott S. Stewart #770808. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.1170438). “Lilli Marlene†(Lili Marlene, Lily Marleen, et al) for some is a song of (political and social) contradictions, but it is first and foremost a love song – the tale of a young soldier in love with a girl while they are surrounded by the horrors of war.  Inspired by the poetry of German Hans Leip (1915), set to music by Norbert Schultze (1937) with a traditional folksong-like melody (to a typical war march-like accompaniment); the British Ministry of Information commissioned Tommie Conner (1944) to write a set of English lyrics to ‘encourage British war morale’ - for they were worried of the effect of German song’s popularity on British troops.  This arrangement is for solo voice and piano accompaniment.  It is in the style of a cabaret ballad – for after all it is a love song. Conner’s pronouns have been changed so the tale can be told from the perspective of Lilli Marlene.  Performance time: 3:15+-.

Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1428166 By Elton John. By Bernie Taupin and Elton John. Arranged by Martyn Clive Johnson (aka Martycli Piano Guy). 20th Century,Contemporary,Jazz,Pop,Ragtime. Score. 9 pages. Martyn Johnson #1008995. Published by Martyn Johnson (A0.1428166). This is one of my favourite Elton John tunes. I'm also a big fan of the music of Scott Joplin and thought it would be interesting to play Elton John's 'Daniel' in a ragtime style. I have actually used techniques that were post Joplin but it still has a strong ragtime feel and is a lot of fun to play.I have taken it through the keys of C major and Db major. There are a number of tenths in the left hand. These may be difficult for those with smaller hands but they can be rolled or replaced with a single root note or octave.I don't include dynamics, fingering or pedal markings and prefer to leave these to the discretion of the individual pianist as no two piano teachers can agree on this. I like to give the notes to the reader as simply as possible and another shortcut I often use is to write for example quavers/eight notes even when the notes should be longer. This makes it easier to read than so many voicings, rests and different note durations. The player can instinctively tell which notes should be held longer. You should therefore find my music very accessible.I hope you have as much fun learning and playing this tune as I had arranging it!
