This is a calm, meditative piece for 2 flutes and piano. It was originally composed for myself, a flute teacher, to play along with my pupils. So, the Flute 1 part is marked for pupils, and is therefore quite easy throughout. However, the download also includes a second set of flute parts, which features the same music - however, the musical phrases have been distributed across both flutes 1 and 2 - which is great when the two flutes are of approximately the same ability (it gives a more satisfying performance experience for both flutists). The piece has a hint of Pachelbel's Canon in that it features a simple melody over a repeated chord sequence.
