This arrangement is set for Carillon, however it may also be played on piano, organ, or electronic keyboard or adapted to other instruments. It is a transcription of the waltz, comprised of an introduction, waltz sections 1 and 2, and a shortened Coda. Waltz section 3 and 4 are omitted.
The French name is LES PATINEURS. It was written in 1882. Though it is a winter-time theme, it is often associated with Christmas. This is the shorter, simpler version. There is also a longer, complete, more difficult version available.
