In this version of Slow Sunday, I have added lyrics for the children in the third verse.  The spirits of the children sing to their parents as the two adults waltz, encouraging the young couple to start a family and bring them into the world.  The addition of yodeling gives an international touch to the country waltz.

When asked to sing for the Saint Andrew's Society of Fort Myers annual Robert Burns banquet, I was asked to especially perform Red, Red Rose. While rehearsing the Scottish arrangement, it occured to me that the words of Burns' immortal poem could be sung to the famous American tune- Let Me Call You Sweetheart.  So here is a barbershop harmony duet for a male and female singer that demonstrates my discovery.

A song of recognition to the soldiers who fight for our freedom and who are fortunate enough to return home from the battle.

This original composition also includes the first verse from When Johnny Comes Marching Home, which is a well-known song American Civil War song that told of people's desire for the return of their friends and family members who were fighting in the war. Lyrics accredited to Patrick Gilmore & tune to Louis Lambert, 1863.
