Jones (A0.871077). This setting of Psalm 43 for men's voices employs both a metrical text and tune {Martyrs} from the Scottish Psalter of 1615. Arranged by stanzas in unison, TB, or solo, it is very approachable. An excellent piece for a men's chorus for church use (especially Reformed churches), but could also be performed as a tenor/baritone duet. The organ accompaniment is written in two staves and could easily be adapted for piano or keyboard.

Published by D H Hamill (A0.1012877). For Christmas programs, What Was It Like? is a beautiful and memorable choral work set for S.A.women's chorus or duet with piano accompaniment. The lyrics reflect the thoughts of so many of us who wonder what it felt like to those who witnessed the birth and early years of Jesus Christ. The vocal parts are all within normal ranges and of no particular difficulty. The piano accompaniment is of medium difficulty. Meter changes set off the verses from the chorus melody, and there is one key change. This is appropriate for both worship services and any public Christmas program venue. Performance time is five minutes. There are two other arrangements on the website, one for vocal solo medium voice and one for S.A.T.B. The lyricist, Bruce C.
