Work for duo by oboe and clarinet.
Composed in July 2000. In the song, we aim to effectively use the oboe double stop and the clarinet portamento.
In particular, for the oboe double stop, I referred to the document Modern Oboe Playing (Peter Wiel, Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf = co-author, Yuji Soda = translation).
This work was premiered by Hidetaka Nanasawa (oboe), Takamichi Suzuki (clarinet), at the Barrio Hall on March 11, 2001 at the Oboe Festa (sponsored by the Japan Society for Contemporary Music), a publicly-offered concert of Contemporary Music Exhibition 2001.
