Tears Dry On Their Own by Amy Winehouse is a wonderful R&B selection that has just the right amount of sass and sway for an exceptional work of music. This arrangement is for SATB a cappella groups, and sits at an easy-intermediate difficulty for high school/collegiate groups. While there isn’t a vocal percussionist part in the score, it is recommended to perform this arrangement with one.
This arrangement features quite repetitive jazz harmonies and relatively limited ranges in the vocal parts, making the learn quite easy. Additionally, the bass part features a groovy bass line that everyone can move to.Â
