Fu proprio a Firenze che negli anni '60 del 1700 produsse le sue migliori composizioni, viste con rispetto, pare, anche dal giovane Mozart, che ne avrebbe in parte riutilizzate qualche decennio più tardi. Qui si propone la prima parte del suo Stabat Mater (i canoni da 1 a 10), sempre per tre voci, ma sempre diverse: tre soprani, tre contralti, soprano tenore e basso, ecc...
