La nuovissima edizione di questo metodo storico include i componimenti scritti per tutte le estensioni vocali in tre tonalità diverse. Questa comodità sarà senz’altro utile non solo ai pianisti accompagnatori (che avranno a portata di mano la stessa aria già trasposta), ma anche agli insegnanti. Gli allievi, inoltre, potrebbero esercitare la stessa lezione in tonalità diverse per fini didattici e musicali. Ogni arietta è corredata da note storiche, da consigli interpretativi e da note autografe (ove presenti indicate in corsivo) del Vaccaj stesso. Al fine di suggerire ai cantori la giusta dizione italiana, tutti versi del Metastasio sono stati riscritti con gli accenti ortoepici correttamente segnati su tutte le parole di dubbia pronuncia italiana. Sono altresì indicati i raddoppiamenti fonosintattici. Una legenda ortoepica precede il metodo. Nell’appendice sono incluse sia le note storiche dettagliate di ciascuna opera da cui sono tratti i versi, sia la serie degli intervalli da cantare che il Vaccaj scrisse per le storiche edizioni. Di questi solfeggi cantati è stato realizzato anche il basso continuo per agevolarne l’esecuzione ai giovani pianisti. Questa nuova edizione completa dell’opera, curata nella veste grafica ed impaginata ex novo per una lettura più agevole e chiara, è arricchita ulteriormente dalla preziosa presentazione del M°Antonio Juvarra.

This new edition of this historical method includes compositions written for all vocal extensions in three different keys.
This convenience will certainly be useful not only to accompanying pianists, but also to teachers. Pupils also could practice the same lesson in different keys for educational and musical purposes. Each arietta is accompanied by historical notes, interpretative advice and handwritten notes (where present indicate in italics) by Vaccaj himself. All the verses of Metastasio have been rewritten with the orthoepic accents correctly marked on all words of dubious Italian pronunciation. The phonosyntactic doublings are also indicated. An orthoepic legend precedes the method. The appendix includes both the detailed historical notes of each work from which the verses are taken, and the series of intervals to be sung that Vaccaj wrote for the historical editions. The basso continuo has also been made of these sung solfeggios to facilitate their performance by young pianists. This new complete edition of the work, edited in the graphics and paginated from scratch for easier and clearer reading, is further enriched by the precious presentation of Maestro Antonio Juvarra.

The Brindisi (drinking song), Libiamo ne’ lieti calici (Let’s drink from the joyful chalices) is the famous duet from the Italian opera La traviata (1853) by Giuseppe Verdi, and perhaps one of the best known opera melodies in all the operatic repertoire.  This ‘arrangement’ is a practical performance arrangement scored for (reduced to) 4-part SATB ensemble with piano accompaniment; its aim is to ease the work of the pianist not having to deal with the many necessary page turns.  it also is a practical alternative for an SATB solo quartet to perform as an ensemble.  It is in the original Italian text. California Dreamin' is a number one hit from John and Michelle Phillips (who were members of the folk group the New Journeymen, which later evolved into the Mamas and the Papas). Originally written in C#-minor this version transposed to C-minor to make it easier for you to follow (for example on the piano). You can accompany it with the piano using the chords given above or let your choir sing A-capella. The special part about this arrangement is the constant change of melody between the different voices. The iconic flute solo is not included in this arrangement but can be simply added between the second chorus and the Dal Segno. So take this simple arrangement, which is easy to sing but interesting to hear with you and send your audience to sunny California...

California Dreamin' ist ein Nummer-Eins-Hit von John und Michelle Phillips (die Mitglieder der Folkgruppe The New Journeymen waren, aus der später The Mamas and The Papas hervorgingen). He Said She Said was the first song CHVRCHES composed for their fourth album after the COVID-19 pandemic. The meaning behind the track focuses on the pressures of being true to oneself and living up to expectations, especially in the ongoing age of social media.

The verses describe a hypocrisy and controlling, manipulative struggle with the singer's physicality and mental state. The quotes tell her to act a certain way or mold into a specific shape, but also mention to not go too far in either category. Not having a clear direction and attempting to please others makes the singer feel like they're losing their mind.

Lauren Mayberry, the lead vocalist, said The barebones of thesong were there in about an hour and the opening line of thesong was the first lyric that came out.

The song released with a music video following Mayberry trapped inside a transparent revolving door with no way ofescaping. She's seen bashing against the glass attempting to break out with shots of her spinning around.

Martin Doherty, the synthesist and producer of the band, said The chords felt like they had this eternal tension in them—they never actually release, even though they get really big. Itfeels to me like a panic attack.

The lyrics enhance this tense suffocation with Mayberry's build up in the pre chorus followed by her highest range in the chorus. She switches between a false voice/autotune into her natural voice after breaking free from the silence. Almost as if her falsified persona is begging for release but no one responds to her cry for help.
