The Dream Is Still Alive - Choral Arrangement for SATB and Piano arranged by Michael Thomas Coull

The Dream Is Still Alive was written and performed by Wilson Phillips, an American pop group that was formed in Los Angeles in 1989.  The group consisted of Carnie and Wendy Wilson, the daughters of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, and Chynna Phillips, the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas & the Papas.

Their 1990 self-titled debut album sold over 10 million copies worldwide and included five major US hit singles, three of which went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100.  The Dream Is Still Alive was released in June 1991 – the fifth and final single to be released from this album – and peaked just outside the Billboard top ten, at number 12.

Dan Titus, a tall tale author and poet, wrote a poem encouraging the unbeliever to look around at the beautiful world around them to see the prevelent evidence of a creator.

Dan was a slick card player, passionate about literature and history. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He passed away in 2022. In his honor, his granddaughter put his precious words to music.
