'Silently Now' is a setting of the well loved Gospel Hymn by Clara Scott  Silently now I wait for Thee 

The (slightly updated) words of the verses are set to new music and at the centre of the work the music of the original  chorus is presented in a sensitive setting evoking the atmosphere of the original gospel style revival meeting.
