Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1444099 By Aaron Evans. By Aaron Evans. Arranged by Aaron Evans. A Cappella,Folk,Spiritual. 1 pages. Aaron Evans #1024045. Published by Aaron Evans (A0.1444099). Over recent years there have been an increasing number of movements encouraging the protection of the earth and her natural resources. One common thing amongst all of these movements is that we are in desperate need of sending her love. If, with everything we do, make or use, we do with love for the earth, we will be one step closer to building a greener future for our children.Tips for TeachingThis song has three different melodies that, when layered together, flow together as call and response. The S & A parts form one of these melodies, the T is another and the B the third.Something that my choirs have found useful to note is that in the first half, the phrases have an upward motion and in the second half a downward motion (with the exception of the tenor part). As an alternative to the words, for a performance, this could be sung through vowel sounds (ooh, ahh or hmm) with each melody offered the opportunity to ‘feature’ by singing the words over the others singing a vowel sound. For example, the S, A & B part ‘ooh' whilst the T sing their tune with the words.

SATB acapella.  This is a late intermediate arrangement great for high school choirs, community acapella groups and Christmas caroling companies.  The first verse rotates the melody between each part as the others form a rhythmic arpeggio accompaniment.  The second verse introduces duetting phrases, and then the third verse calms down into lush harmonies which eventually fade into nothing.  A beautiful version of the Disney favorite! Also available in SSAA acapella, as well as SATB and SSAA with piano accompaniment.  The audio sample comes from the third verse.

A bold choral work with a bold message of hope and praise for what Christ has accomplished for us by his death and resurrection!(For Mp3 Accompaniment TRACK:  Copy and paste the following into the search bar:Choral - Sing to God All the Earth Accompaniment Track)It's only $1.99!SATB Choral with piano accompaniment.Based on John 1:1-3In the beginning there was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.  All things were made by him, and nothing was made without him.andRomans 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The presence of children in a choir presentation can be quite charming and encouraging for the congregation.  These kind of experiences for children can prepare them for a love of choral and exposure to singing with the big choir.  Plus, as Psalm 8:2 informs us, children can have a ministry that silences the negative influence of the enemy and bring strength and encouragement to all who hear them sing praise! The children's part in this piece of music is a simple counter melody, no parts.  You do not need an established children's choir, only a few good singers will do nicely.

SATB, a cappellaWritten for the Early Light Academy Spotlight Singers (South Jordan, UT) and taken from actual responses from the students they were asked, when people look at you, what do you want them to see? This song is intended to be a very personal expression for the singers as well as for the audience.Text:I see: eyes and a face, hands and feetYou see: the sameI see: tears and a smile, working, movingYou see: the sameI see: pain, joy, strength, enduranceYou see, you think you see-but you can’t name it.I see you, please see me.When you look at me, see a person who isn’t afraid to be-- just be.I am tall or I am small, but I am happy to be me.I may be confident or meek, I may be really strong or weak,And if it changes week to week, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you see me.When you listen, notice that my voice may sometimes raise the roofAnd other times it may seem aloof when I cannot find the proofOf what is truth and what is fair, but listen ‘til you hear me shareAnd know deep down I really care, because it matters. It matters that you see me.I see: someone who is strong and kind, someone who knows their mind, Someone who struggles just like me, but keeps fighting endlesslyI see you, please see me.I see: a soul who fin’ly knows I’m hereAnd doesn’t judge if I bow down to smallish fearsYou see me, and I see you, there’s nothing greater we can doThan to acknowledge we’re all trav’ling down this road,But not alone. It matters-That I see you-and you see me.

Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.1381069). An allusion to Lamentations 1:12 (Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow....), Have, Have Ye No Regard is a setting for solo baritone, SATB voices, and organ of Robert Herrick's (1591-1674) poem, His Saviour's Words, Going to the Cross:Have, have ye no regard, all ye Who pass this way, to pity Me, Who am a man of misery? A man both bruis'd and broke, and one Who suffers not here for Mine own, But for My friends' transgression! Ah, Sion's daughters, do not fear The Cross, the Cords, the Nails, the Spear, The Myrrh, the Gall, the Vinegar, For Christ, your loving Saviour, hath Drunk up the wine of God's fierce wrath; Only there's left a little froth, Less for to taste than for to show What bitter cups had been your due, Had he not drank them up for you.©Copyright 2024 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music. Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.835452 Composed by Stuart Brown. 20th Century,Contemporary,World. Octavo. 211 pages. Stuart Brown Music #5990681. Published by Stuart Brown Music (A0.835452). A fantastic offer price for the full score and all parts! ... Looking for something to add a sense of oriental exoticism to your amateur orchestral/choral concert? This may be what you're looking for! This charming little suite of six dances lasts about 15½ minutes. It consists of a Pavane, Bourée, Sarabande, Allemande, Basse Danse and Galliard, which vary widely in character. As a whole the suite provides some interesting challenges for both performers and listeners. Apart from conventional strings, flute and harp (which can be either pedal or lever) you will need:- One or maybe two Arabian ouds. The parts are playable also on a fretless acoustic guitar. (Needs to be fretless because of the quarter-tones in some of the Arabic modes used.)- A cimbalom (the part can be played on a piano also, with slight modification). You might get away with using a hammered dulcimer but you'd need to make a number of compromises.- A doumbek and a djembe. These beautiful drums are a must for Middle-Eastern or African music. They're fairly easy to find, though finding somebody who can play them properly may take a bit more doing!- Finger cymbals and a gong. These are regular western instruments.- A wind-chime. Anything that produces a nice shimmering spangle of sound will probably do!- A group of singers (SATB). Nothing particularly challenging but see below. The primary oud part, the strings and the singers need to have sufficiently good intonation to pitch quarter tones. These are the exception rather than the rule, but nevertheless play an important part in the character of the music. Apart from this, the music is relatively straightforward and probably playable by any reasonably competent amateur or high school orchestra. In the spring of 2020 I wrote a set of short music tracks for a charity of which I'm a trustee. In order to protect my intellectual property rights in the music, I decided to bring it together into an attractive if not intellectually challenging little suite, hence An Omani Dance Suite. Originally the dances were all in Arabic quarter-tone temperament, but obviously quarter-tones cannot be played easily (if at all) on the flute, harp and cimbalom. So I have made some adjustments but retained the Arabic temperament wherever reasonably possible. I had thought initially of using a santur instead of a cimbalom, but the santur lacks the range and the dynamic capability to be used with a string chamber orchestra. The cimbalom doesn't need to be a concert grand model; in fact it doesn't even need to have dampers. The Omani was something of an afterthought: a musician friend of mine had worked in Oman and commented on how authentically Omani the Basse Danse sounded. The period of composition coincided with a time when I was really missing friends in Vietnam and Romania, so somehow influences from those countries found their way into the music.I'm not bothering with performing rights for this - just go away and enjoy the music! ... but if it inspires you find out more about the charity work that inspires me, feel free to get in touch!https://www.facebook.com/stuartbrownmusic/

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.864441 Composed by Mark D. Templeton. 20th Century,Contemporary. Octavo. 12 pages. Mark Templeton Choral Music #2343381. Published by Mark Templeton Choral Music (A0.864441). Lesbia mi dicit semper male, commonly known as Catullus 92, consists of two elegiac couplets written by Gaius Valerius Catullus (84-54 B.C.E) for his lover, Lesbia. Lesbia was the name believed to have been given by Catullus to his mistress. Her real name was Clodia, the sexually promiscuous wife of proconsul Quintus Caecilius Metellus Celer, known as Metellus. Catullus’ earlier poem, 83, brings some context to 92. In the first part of 83, Catullus says: Lesbia keeps insulting me in front of her husband:this fills the fatuous idiot with delight. Mule, do you perceive nothing? If she shut up and ignored me that’d show healthy indifference;… In 92, Catullus expounds on the idea of why Clodia insults him in front of Metellus. Catullus reckons that he is always cursing her, and he loves her. She always curses him, so she must love him as well. In his desperation, Catullus uses his wit and humor to reason that his obsessive love for Coldia is reciprocated. This setting of 92 uses incessant driving rhythms in the women’s voices to paint the words, Lesbia mi dicit semper male nec tacet umquam de me (Lesbia always speaks ill of me, never shuts up about me). The repeating rhythms return in the men’s voices when Catullus says he does the same, quia sunt totidem mea: deprecor illam assidue (…it’s the same with me: I’m continually complaining.) The piece comes to a final rest after Catullus realizes the he will always be cursed to love her.
