An instrumental version by Heywood and Hugo Winterhalter reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 7 on the R&B chart in 1956. A version sung by Andy Williams was also popular that year, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard chart. It's also been recorded by dozens of jazz and pop artists and remains a favorite of the 1950s. This arrangement highlights the flowing melody with rich harmonies and many of the familiar piano figures associated with the original Eddie Heywood recording.

It is a pleasant song with catchy melody and nostalgic lyric.

Jazz great Eddie Heywood and lyricist Norman Gimbel teamed up to penned this romantic ballad going up to Canada for a tender getaway.  Scored for 4-part SATB chorus and piano this arrangement is a good introduction to the style and harmonies of jazz.  A great piece to build and develop ensemble sound through technique, tuning and interpretation. A good piece to learn the musical histories of these two men.
