The melody was composed in the Covid-19 epidemic period in the early morning around 5:00 am. It is a very short song, good for children to sing. English version of the poem and the song were all made by the author himself. On August 25, 2020, the author added a new song based on back translation from the English translation. .

It begins dulci (quietly) gradually building to the final stanza in which the Tenors and Basses sing the melody while the Sopranos and Altos accompany them with an angelic chorus that can be sung in either 3 or 4-part harmony. A new translation maintains the flavor of the original macaronic text by alternating between the original Latin phrases with English translations of the original German phrases. Translations of the Latin phrases are found on the final page. A separate piano part is provided. Harp may also be used for accompaniment.
