Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1490530

Composed by Jeff Davis & Frederick Lehman. Arranged by Jeff Davis. A Cappella,Religious,Sacred. 19 pages. Jeff Davis #1067346. Published by Jeff Davis (A0.1490530).

This arrangement of an old hymn combines the theme of God's love by using Biblical texts from Romans 8:35, & 38-39 and Corinthians 13:17 with the hymn text (and an original verse) from the hymn The Love of God by Frederick M. Lehman using a new melody.   It begins with a recitative stating the theme and continues in a variety of voicings that compliment each verse, leading to a climactic setting verse. It then closes with repetitive definitions of love as stated by the apostle Paul and repeats the theme presented at the beginning.
There are A cappella sections that can be supported with piano if needed. It is written for a mature choir for panio/SATB  with a SSAA section.
