Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.886923 Composed by Isaac Watts. Arranged by Justin M. Ryan. Baroque,Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Octavo. 8 pages. Justin M. Ryan #3049153. Published by Justin M. Ryan (A0.886923). The hymn, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, was written by Isaac Watts, and published in Hymns and Spiritual Songs in 1707. It is significant for being an innovative departure from the early English hymn style of only using paraphrased biblical texts, although the first two lines of the second verse do paraphrase St Paul at Galatians 6:14. The poetry of When I survey... may be seen as English literary baroque.[1] The hymn's fourth verse (His dying crimson...) is commonly omitted in printed versions, a practice that began with George Whitefield in 1757.[2]This arrangement is for SATB Choir and is performed at a Moderate tempo. It is broken up into 4 verses plus please watch verse 3. The Soprano melody has been slightly adjusted but still follows the same harmonic movement as in Vs. 1 and 2. Enjoy this wonderful Lenten Classic.Tune Information Composer: Lowell Mason (1824) Meter: 8.8.8.8 Incipit: 11232 34323 33343 Key: F Major or modal Source: Adapted from a Gregorian Chant

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.939976 Composed by César Zumel. Christian,Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Octavo. 3 pages. César Zumel #3062489. Published by César Zumel (A0.939976). Around two minutes of music for saying the last bye, plenty of sorrow and hope. For church funerals at communio, or at the end of the ceremony. Affordable for SATB choir a bit experienced, really easy to describe and to show sorrow by your own voice. Contemporary music is used for showing sorrow but enough to be sung by a non profesional nor semi-profesional choir. The Canticum Zacchariae lyric is found in Luke (I, 67-79) and it is sung at the funeral. The deceased receives prayers and this song, accompanied by two candles and a cross. Just before Canticum Zacchariae it is sung Liberame Domine, eternal death, ... and In paradisum: deducant Angeli .... Canticum Zacchariae sums up the hope placed on eternal life and which Luke tells in his youth gospel of Jesus.

SATB, a cappellaWritten for the Early Light Academy Spotlight Singers (South Jordan, UT) and taken from actual responses from the students they were asked, when people look at you, what do you want them to see? This song is intended to be a very personal expression for the singers as well as for the audience.Text:I see: eyes and a face, hands and feetYou see: the sameI see: tears and a smile, working, movingYou see: the sameI see: pain, joy, strength, enduranceYou see, you think you see-but you can’t name it.I see you, please see me.When you look at me, see a person who isn’t afraid to be-- just be.I am tall or I am small, but I am happy to be me.I may be confident or meek, I may be really strong or weak,And if it changes week to week, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you see me.When you listen, notice that my voice may sometimes raise the roofAnd other times it may seem aloof when I cannot find the proofOf what is truth and what is fair, but listen ‘til you hear me shareAnd know deep down I really care, because it matters. It matters that you see me.I see: someone who is strong and kind, someone who knows their mind, Someone who struggles just like me, but keeps fighting endlesslyI see you, please see me.I see: a soul who fin’ly knows I’m hereAnd doesn’t judge if I bow down to smallish fearsYou see me, and I see you, there’s nothing greater we can doThan to acknowledge we’re all trav’ling down this road,But not alone. It matters-That I see you-and you see me.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.1011792 Composed by Olivia Ahyoung. A Cappella. Octavo. 7 pages. Olivia Ahyoung #4767455. Published by Olivia Ahyoung (A0.1011792). This tuneful, lilting anthem is suitable for small to medium sized church choirs, and can be effectively performed with just a few rehearsals. It is especially suited to Thanksgiving but can be used throughout the year.  The flowing piano introduction which is sight-readable, is maintained throughout as a contrast to the long notes in the melody.  The middle section showcases the male voices in the choir while the descant in the last section adds to the intensity as the anthem builds to a climax.  An optional accompaniment has been added to the A Capella section if needed.A review of this work is welcomed.

An original hymn with text by Mark Fotheringham below.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/BGhqSeLVhqgI may not be the one to brighten your eye, I may not be the one whose heart makes you fly, I may not be the one who shows you His ways, But know I am one who for you prays.   I may not be the one who gave everything To bring you back to God, our glorious King, I cannot save your soul or cleanse it or mend, But this I can do, forever be your friend.     I may not be the one who knows all the truth. It's true I may have been a faltering youth, But now I know my God, who saved me from sin By sending His Son who let me in.   So now I am the one who will testify, And now I am the one who'll reach out to try To bless a friend in need, just as I've been blessed, Until we in heaven find eternal rest.

Kevin G. Pace #804558. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1206362). A beautifully stunning, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.701457). An original hymn with text by Kathryn Hales below.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/w68JlvntMjcI did not see the vision, Nor dream a prophet’s dream, I only saw the barren desert Stretch forth upon the scene.   I was not there when Brigham’s cane Touched the virgin ground Naming the spot the Lord had shown Where a temple would be found.   I did not hear the Lord’s own voice As over ocean waves I tossed, Nor spared the death of loved ones dear As the vast plains I crossed.   I only felt the Holy Spirit Telling me the work was true, So I obeyed the prophetic words Until my trek was through.   I helped dig the rocky soil Before the foundation was laid Then with shovel filled the gaping hole Before Johnston’s army stayed.   I did not see the temple’s spires I only saw the walls, I only shaped the granite stones With hammer, chisel, maul.   I coaxed oxen through the mud To move stones down a mountain side, I watched our leaders grow old in years, No temple finished before they died.   Now soon I too will join them Though I’ve labored oh so long, I’ll not see the rising spires Or sing praises in Hosanna song.   I’m just a common earthly man, A laborer in a cause so great, To generations yet unborn, I’m not one you’ll appreciate.   Through the years I’ve toiled and sweat, Shared blood and grief and tears, Obeyed the prophet’s call to serve Listened in faith, not fear.   Please do not take for granted As you walk through these carved doors, Or hear the echo of carpenters From stairs or roof or floors   The love and work that went into Many years of toil and prayer, Feel our spirits in the halls As you enter there.   Though the structure’s end I’ll not see, To others who this path may trod, Go forth with diligence and faith Till we finish the work of God.

This power ballad from the Barbie Movie was just begging to be transformed into a barbershop contest vehicle. It was commissioned by an SATB ensemble, and thus, while its harmonic choices, voicings, and indeed emotional registers are all classic barbershop, the opportunities provided by a wider overall range in the ensemble allows it to paint its pictures on a larger canvas.Vocal Ranges:Soprano: D4 - E5Alto: A#3 - D5Tenor: E3 - G4Bass: G2 - E flat 4www.HelpingYouHarmonise.com
