Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1488885 By The Beach Boys. By Traditional. Arranged by Matthew Clifford Sharp. Barbershop,Folk,Pop,Rock,Traditional. 9 pages. Matthew Sharp #1065740. Published by Matthew Sharp (A0.1488885). A spirited and entertaining take on the Beach Boys classic. This is a very accessible arrangement - the sopranos only go up to D and the tenors to E. It begins with a male solo, though this can easily be given to any section of the choir if desired. The melody is shared around and the piano gets some bluesy riffs towards the end.A VOCAL SCORE AND FULL SET OF REHEARSAL TRACKS IS AVAILABLE FOR FREE. Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.887683 Composed by Cat McGill. Contemporary,Folk,World. Octavo. 9 pages. Cat McGill #4111543. Published by Cat McGill (A0.887683). This is a modern folk song based on the true story of John Hewett and Sarah Drew, who died in Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire, a week before they were due to be married, on 31st July 1718.It was written as a tribute to John and Sarah, on 31st July 2018: the 300th anniversary of their death. For the lyrics I have taken liberties with the story (I kept them alive!) and I have borrowed from the epitaph written by the poet Alexander Pope, who was staying in the village at the time and was very moved by the incident. For more information on the story please visit https://thames.me.uk/s01960.htmThere is NO MINIMUM ORDER quantity on this piece as I arrange all of my songs to be suitable for teaching by ear. I have taught this myself to my community choir and they've really enjoyed singing it - I hope you do too!
