A Dream in Early Spring, by Kimberly S. Merkert (b. 1972), is an original SATB choral composition set to a public domain poem by English poet, Fredegond Shove (1889 – 1949). Shove was a niece by marriage to Ralph Vaughan Williams. This a cappella work features a lush arrangement appropriate for high school and college choirs, as well as community/professional adult choirs. Rehearsal piano accompaniment included.
