Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.935610 Composed by Hieronymus Praetorius. Arranged by Vincent O. Miller. Baroque,Latin,Multicultural,Sacred,World. 12 pages. Vincent Miller #5306249. Published by Vincent Miller (A0.935610). This is a sacred polychoral piece from the early Baroque period, written for an eight part mixed choir, or two SATB choirs. It is suitable for most high school and church choirs, although it may be beyond some. Range may be a limiting factor for some, as soprano and tenor both take frequent excursions to A natural. A beautiful peice from an under-appreciated composer. If you have questions or comments, feel free to contact me at vm5899556@gmail.com. Thank you!

Choral Choir,Choral (SATB divisi) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1261899 By Christopher Alexander. By Christopher Alexander. A Cappella,Contest,Festival,Sacred. 36 pages. Christopher Alexander #854983. Published by Christopher Alexander (A0.1261899). Laudate! is a celebratory work of excitement and praise. After its boisterous opening, the energy of the song takes off with differing motifs and rhythmic figures in each voice before the chorus unites in large, harmonic textures.  The anticipation builds again before returning to the polyphonic section from before. The work slightly slows down, while maintaining its energetic spirit, creating polychordal harmonies. The uptempo energy comes back once more and builds through the key change and rollicking finale (similar to the beginning).  Each voice section gets featured in this work, and would be a great opener at your next concert.  This work is suitable for advanced high school, collegiate, and community choruses.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799461 Composed by Drake Mabry. 20th Century,Contemporary,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 16 pages. Drake Mabry #1989259. Published by Drake Mabry (A0.799461). Laudate Dominum was my first composition once I decided to compose full time. It was written in 1976. Despite certain areas that I would do differently today, this piece still evokes fond memories for me. The vocal parts are sometimes sung solo, sometimes in small groups and occasionally everyone sings together. Besides the original sung Latin, there are sections where the text is whispered (as in a stage whisper). The duration is 6'30. There is also a version for string orchestra available on SheetMusicPlus.
