Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.719521 Composed by Curtis Hanson. Christian,Sacred. Octavo. 10 pages. Curtis Hanson #2032827. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719521). Nunc Dimittis is a concert setting of Simeon's expression upon seeing the child Jesus before his own death. Set for SATB chorus and organ (orchestral score and parts available separately), it begins in free chant before stating the text in the basses with an original melody. The optional middle section is based on Regina Fryxell's interpretation with permission of Augsburg Fortress. The piece concludes with a grand four-part restatement of the original melody followed by the Gloria Patri. Though perhaps best suited in a concert setting, it could also be sung liturgically, in full or in part, in a worship setting.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.921768 Composed by Lisa Waites. Christian,Christmas,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 2 pages. Servant Song Music and Ministry #6629007. Published by Servant Song Music and Ministry (A0.921768). We're Forgiven (God of Grace) was originally scored in a Piano/Guitar/Voice format, but for this Advent/Christmas season, Servant Song Music & Ministry has produced this full SATB Choral arrangement, as well! This particular arrangement is suitable for Beginner and Early Intermediate Church Choirs and Worship Teams, including very small ensembles. If you don't have any men in your choir, you can turn the score into a Soprano/Alto 2-part version pretty easily, too.   This short, accessible piece of worship music was written as a liturgical response for use during Christian services during the Advent/Christmas/Epiphany seasons of the church calendar. It returns the work of the people TO the people, placing the Words of Assurance into the mouths and hearts of the congregation and/or choir, rather than having the minister alone speaking the words of absolution/assurance after the Prayer of Confession. Set in a simple key for beginning accompanists and including chord charts for guitarists (or pianists who prefer to play by reading the melody notes in the RH and playing by chord symbol with their LH), this song has been set in a perfect vocal range for congregational voices and/or church choirs. Non-liturgical churches have also appreciated this piece as a way for congregants to respond musically to services on themes such as God's Grace, Forgiveness, Reconciliation, Prodigals, Mercy, and also throughout Advent or whenever the pastor is focusing on themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, etc. Please don't make illegal copies of this score; it is the primary way I recover the costs of arranging, engraving and publishing new music. I work on the honour system. If you truly can't afford to purchase copies of this piece for each of your singers/musicians, please contact me via email or my Facebook music page, and I'll make sure your group is taken care of. To God be the glory!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.748682 Composed by Anonymous. Arranged by Mark Reeves. A Cappella,Christmas,Classical,Latin,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 9 pages. Mark Reeves #3638835. Published by Mark Reeves (A0.748682). Gaudete for SATB choir and pianoThis Christmas Carol first appeared in print in a Finnish publication of 1582 entitled Piæ Cantiones Ecclesiasticæ et Scholasticæ Veterum Episcoporum. The æolian modal polyphony and Medieval Latin text suggest a much earlier date of composition originating from central Europe; the plainsong melody of the verses is derived from liturgical sources of the same period and was not included in the original document. This new arrangement of Gaudete is based closely on the original music and text. However, the original key of G minor has been transposed to D minor to create more variety in the voicing, yet remaining faithful to the original vocal parts. The piano accompaniment in the refrain is simply an amalgamation of the voices and therefore, in order to create a pure a cappella sound in performance, the piano part may be omitted and used solely for rehearsal purposes. As the verses were originally sung unaccompanied, the piano part in this arrangement has been devised to compliment the plainsong melody, but of course may be omitted in performance if preferred.Originally, each verse would probably have been sung by a solo tenor voice. However, in this arrangement, each of the four verses has been allocated to a different soloist. This should create the effect of a gradual build-up in the intensity of sound, culminating in the final fortissimo refrain.About the ArrangerMark Reeves is a professional pianist, piano teacher and music arranger, with many years of experience. Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.921796 Composed by Jonathan Hellerman. 20th Century,A Cappella,Christian,Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Octavo. 3 pages. J. F. Hellerman #3566273. Published by J. F. Hellerman (A0.921796). This is a short, a cappella setting of Joseph Mary Plunkett's sublime poem. Each verse features a variation on the same simple melody, while the varied harmony and counterpoint reflect the power and beauty of the text. Only about two minutes in length, I See His Blood Upon the Rose, is appropriate for concert or liturgical use, especially during the Lenten season. It requires some practice, but will be very rewarding for moderate to advanced choirs. A recording can be listened to here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivh_TbV6YTMFor more information about the composer, visit hellermanmusic.com

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.939957 Composed by Anonymous. Arranged by John Morgan. Christian,Classical,Contemporary,Sacred. Octavo. 3 pages. Morgan Music #5993589. Published by Morgan Music (A0.939957). An SATB arrangement of Angelus Domini in the style of Maurice Durufle's Ubi Caritas. The ancient and venerable text is retained with it's original Gregorian chant melody. The Angelus is sung 3 times throughout the day with ringing of bells at 9:00 AM, 12 Noon and 6:00 PM.  This practice still continues in various parts of the world, in monastic life and in more traditional Catholic communities. This arrangement is also suitable for liturgical use in churchs and schools, particularly for Marian feasts and would also be excellent for Advent or Christmas concert season.English Translation:â„£. The Angel of the LORD declared unto Mary,  ℟. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost. Hail Mary, full of grace; the LORD is with thee: blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. â„£. Behold the handmaid of the LORD. ℟. Be it done unto me according to thy word. Hail Mary, full of grace; the LORD is with thee: blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. â„£. And the Word was made flesh. ℟. And dwelt among us. Hail Mary, full of grace; the LORD is with thee: blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.â„£. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. ℟. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us pray, Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O LORD, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.  ℟. Amen.  â„£ . Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. ℟ . As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
