Who doesn't love the show Victorious? Growing up with this show, the title theme was such an ear worm... With a catchy easy melody (with optional solo harmony) this arrangement will really let one of your girls 'shine'! While some parts may feel fairly repetitive, they each play an important role- possessing a precise interlocking rhythm that fills the slight spaces in the other parts. It creates an arrangement with a very full sound and also helps to maintain a fittingly high energy throughout the piece. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser for any highschool or college audience!

As a creator, something I value above all else is the ability to do so with others. There’s a beauty found where minds meet that no one person can achieve alone.

     So, in search of that beauty, before I even started to work on this piece, I met with the students of Waukesha North High School at the end of their 2023 school year. And we talked. We talked about how life was going. The good and bad. The ups and downs. Things lost. Things found… They shared some laughs and even some tears… The conversations we had were unexpectedly poignant and stuck with me throughout the writing process.

     School is a time of great change in our lives and often we are so focused on “getting through� that we don’t really stop to appreciate it until later. This piece celebrates that part of the process. The way we build onto ourselves- acknowledging and accepting that our experiences we have during this time, both good and bad, are crucial to our identity and our ability to move forward in life. They are the cornerstones of who we are and who we become… Inspired by these experiences we shared, I wrote this text. It’s about building a house. The “house� being our self.

A reharmonization of the well known text. There are many cheery arrangements of this song, which never made much sense to me. This arrangement bucks that trend in favor of a more serious and contemplative take- reflective of the faithful nature and emotional weight present in the text. Without overcomplicating things for listeners, the reharmonization of this text brings out a more introspective character. This piece is great if youre looking for something familiar for your audience, but also want to surprise them with something new.

This popular text has been redone time and time again across centuries. This arrangement starts and ends as a contemporary reharmonization of the original tune, but each verse is a stylistic homage to the many iterations that came before it. You will find delicious dissonance and beautiful harmonic suspension throughout. Some of the larger stacked chords may be intimidating, but it was written with achievability in mind. Though challenging at times, the intuitive voice leading makes this piece accessible for the average choir. The vocal ranges for all parts are safe and comfortable- without compromising on emotional impression at phrasal climaxes...

This piece is dear to me and I hope that it may become so to those others who would sing and hear it as well!

In honor of the iconic 90's club scene here and overseas, I created this arrangement of 'Everytime We Touch' by CASCADA. Incorporating thematic snippits from another memorable tune by alice deejay (Better Off Alone), this piece is sure to get any large mixed group dancing and grooving. While vocal percussion adds a lot to this particular arrangementy, it isn't necessary due to the driving patternic nature of the supporting voice parts... This is not an easy piece... But nailing the rhythm changes and emmersing yourself in the vibe of this piece will reward you with a showstopper sure to make a splash at any concert or competition. Challenging to learn, but EPIC once you get it. A great number to throw at any advanced acappella group looking for their next big thing!

This is a contemporary reharmonization of the popular hymn In Christ Alone. As one of the most beloved and well known hymns of our time, there already exist meriad interpretations of this tune. This is mine. Finding a balance between the comfort of traditional hymn voicings and contemporary jazz inspired harmonic movement- this arrangement keeps things fresh, while also embracing the simple beauty of the melody we all know and love. It honors the folk tune feel, but with subtle modern flavor. It is a challenge to sing at some points, but is bookended by satisfyingly lush, and intuitive, full voicings. Though it is not an easy arrangement, it is written with achievability in mind. I urge you to let your ensemble give it a try. I hope you find the joy in singing it that I had in writing it.
