At the time it was unusual to have a rock/pop band do a song in this jazz blues style. It was released as the B-Side to their Daydream Believer single. This is the long version with sax and trumpet solos transcribed. This was a mainstay in their concerts. The song was used to mimic the end of any James Brown concert. Polish composer Michal Lorenc's attractive and accessible Ave Maria featured in the 1995 film 'Provocateur' and the title has recently been recorded by UK artist Aled Jones. This arrangement for SATB makes a welcome addition to existing 'Ave Maria' settings and will be useful for Weddings, Funerals, and other occasions, as well as a concert item.  It could be performed as a vocal quartet or choral forces and accompaniment is for piano or organ.
