Choral Choir,Choral (SATB divisi) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1369022 By Tim Buckley. By Larry Beckett and Tim Buckley. Arranged by Andrew Orgee. 20th Century,Contemporary,New Age,Pop. 17 pages. Andrew Orgee #953365. Published by Andrew Orgee (A0.1369022). This arrangement of ā€œSong To The Sirenā€ is based on Tim Buckley's original 1970 version of the song, and is scored for SATB choir with piano. The arrangement follows the verse and chorus structure of Larry Beckett's original text, but there is a countermelody which threads its way between the melody of the song. This is first stated by the piano accompaniment and then taken up by the choir throughout. This is the siren's song calling across the sea which is intended to be both beautiful and haunting at the same time. The piano accompaniment mimics the rolling movement of the sea which builds in intensity until the final closing bars. The arrangement is intended for choirs of a medium to large size, as the soprano and bass parts occasionally split into two parts.

She breaks away from her expected role as a sheep in an obedient flock and becomes a wolf sharpening her teeth and honing her skills. Moreover, she calls for others to follow her to stand up and face the enemy. More than a century later, Storni’s voice still echoes with a powerful call to action in a world where women’s rights are as fragile as ever. Bored of its usual role as a bird, the flute breaks away from the flock to inhabitat the wolf through transformative electronic distortions. The main theme mimics actual wolf calls, surprisingly comfortable in the flute’s low register. The tango-infused choral harmonies evoke the dissonance and angst in women’s struggle for equality through the ages.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.583365 By Pink Floyd. By Roger Waters. Arranged by Jeff Tincher. Rock. Octavo. 27 pages. Jeff Tincher #3689113. Published by Jeff Tincher (A0.583365). This is one of the epic songs from Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here CD. In the original key, this song is quite interesting considering the simplicity of the song. Performance notes: This arrangement as all the measures of the original. The beginning of the song has a lot of rhythmic bass with a lot of machine sound effects. You could have your performers use their imagination to make sounds from their instruments to mimic the machine sounds. If you want to make the song shorter, I would suggest starting at measure 6, right after the 5th ending. Duration = 5:47. Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1305028 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Michelle Willis. A Cappella,Advent,Chamber,Christmas. 7 pages. Teton Music #894458. Published by Teton Music (A0.1305028). Lucious harmonies make this familiar, 15th century Christmas carol fresh again. The piece begins with percussive 'dings' and 'dongs' as they mimic the ringing of church bells. The remainder of the piece splits into four part women's harmony with flowing, moving lines in each vocal part. Excellent selection for church, school or professional ensembles. May be sung in English or French. English TextBring a torch, Jeanette, Isabella!Bring a torch, to Bethlehem come!Christ is born. Tell the folk of the villageMary has laid him in a manger.Ah! Ah! beautiful Ā is the Mother!Ah! Ah! beautiful is her child!Who is that, knocking on the door?Who is it, knocking like that?Open up, we've arranged on a platterLovely cakes that we have brought hereKnock! Knock! Knock! Open the door for us!Knock! Knock! Knock! Let's celebrate! It is wrong when the Baby is sleeping,It is wrong to speak so loud.Silence, now as you gather around,Lest your noise should waken Jesus.Hush! Hush! see how the Baby slumbers;Hush! Hush! see how the Baby sleeps!Softly now unto the stable,Softly for a moment come!Look and see how charming is Jesus,Look at him there, His cheeks are rosy!Hush! Hush! see how the Child is sleeping;Hush! Hush! see how he smiles in dreams! Ā

Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1449955 Composed by Stephen Foster. Arranged by Thomas G Degan. 19th Century,A Cappella,Early Music,Folk,Historic. 2 pages. Thomas Degan #1029685. Published by Thomas Degan (A0.1449955). Ring, Ring de Banjo is a minstrel song written in 1851. The song's words and music are from Stephen Foster. THIS ARRANGEMENT HAS BEEN UPDATED TO INCLUDE CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH AND DOES NOT INCLUDE REFERENCES TO SLAVERY OR DEROGATORY RACIAL TERMS.The song, (originally) written to mimic the dialect of Black people in the Southern United States, is about a newly-freed slave who wishes to come back to his master's plantation. As his old master is dying, the singer plays the banjo on his old master's deathbed until he dies. It is one of minstrelsy's most explicit evocations of the potentially violent relationship in slavery between master and slave and inspired a number of imitators, including the abolitionist Harriet Beecher Stowe. -Wikipedia.
