Do not stand at my grave and weep is a new setting of Mary Frey's touching poem, which speaks in the voice of the deceased, in tones of comfort and peace to those who are left behind.  This setting is lush and expressive, requiring only four parts, but allowing for some occasional divisi.  There is another version of this same title available on this site which has more complex divisi parts, for those with singers capable of these.  A piano reduction is available.

In my heart, I know that my redeemer lives is a setting of the funeral sentence from the Anglican and Episcopal Prayer Books.  The piece is suitable for funerals, but also for the Easter season, any occasions of memorial, or Sundays with readings about eternal life, resurrection, trust in God's goodness, or triumph over persecution.  This motet is scored for a cappella voices, with men and boys choirs in mind, but, of course, usable with any treble choir, or SATTBB ensemble.  The harmonies are lush, and for the most part, the piece is homophonic.  See the SATB version with optional divisi for a simpler arrangement.  Listen to the audio file to get an idea of the pace and sound of the piece.

I know that my redeemer lives sets the text of Job 19:23-25.  The motet is scored here for an SATB choir with solos, and optional divisi in tenor or bass.  This comforting and beautiful setting is appropriate for Easter, for funerals, memorials, and and service or concert that focuses on eternal life, resurrection, hope, and trust in God amid persecution.  The original setting, for SATTBB, is available as well, for more adventurous choirs, and was written with a men and trebles choir in mind.

There are optional opportunities for short solos, or at the director's discretion, even whole verses available for the right soloist.
