A beautiful marriage of text and melody. This time-honored, medieval text is set to an orchestrated version of Chopin’s Piano Prelude in C minor (Op. 28, No. 20). Through song we are taken to Christ’s final procession to the cross and His suffering and death. Musically, it works equally well with just piano accompaniment and/or with organ, which is an orchestral reduction. It opens with an optional snare drum dirge.

Psalm 150 orchestration is the alternate version of Psalm 150 in which the vocal parts are orchestrated. It includes flute, B flat clarinet, oboe, bassoon, horn, trumpet, violin, viola, cello, double base, cymbal, and tambourine parts. The orchestra is used to illustrate the various instruments mentioned in the Psalm, building until the climactic scale which concludes the piece.
