While much of the psalm indicates that its author was dealing with some serious life issues, in this verse the psalmist affirms a trust in the Lord’s help: not salvation for the next life, but rescue and shelter within the present lifetime. This piece attempts to portray such trust in God during times of struggle and pain.Available here is a full score and parts for the orchestration, including trumpet, tenor sax, guitar, and upright bass.
