Stewart. 19th Century,Celtic,Folk,Irish,Romantic Period,Singer/Songwriter. 6 pages. Scott S. Stewart #1030846. Published by Scott S. Molly Dear AKA Molly My Dear an Irish air and fiddle tune.  This 2024 setting of Moore’s masterpiece is scored for 4-part SATB ensemble to be performed a cappella.  Performance time: 2:55+.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.998537 Composed by Adolphe-Charles Adam. Arranged by Scott Fields Davis. Christmas,Easter,Sacred. Octavo. 31 pages. Scott Fields Davis #6560385. Published by Scott Fields Davis (A0.998537). O holy night by Adolphe Charles Adam, in my opinion, is easily one of the most beautiful and moving of all the Christmas carols. This arrangement has the chorus that we all know and love, with a few subtle changes. In this version, the accompaniment (played by two cellos) is stripped down to its essentials. Revealing its simplistic excellence. Lastly, each verse is written out with its own individual line of music. Making the text easier to read, it's no longer necessary to determine which one the four verses (usually stacked on top of one another) to sing. Approximate duration is 9 minutes and 46 seconds.   More music and contact information can be found at: compositionsbyscottfieldsdavis.com. Please follow me on Facebook and Youtube .

Choral,Mixed Chorus Choir,Choral - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1452243 Composed by Alan Bullard. 21st Century,Classical. 90 pages. Colne Edition / BullardMusic #1031565. Published by Colne Edition / BullardMusic (A0.1452243). Alan Bullard's Canticle of Freedom (A Song for Peace), written in 1999 and first performed in 2000, is a prayer for a new millennium of freedom and peace, and each of the four movements takes as its starting point one of the verses from the nineteenth-century Christmas hymn 'It came upon the midnight clear'. It is scored for mixed choir, children's or youth choir, soprano and baritone soloists and a moderate size orchestra. The first movement tells of a solemn, still, and peaceful earth, and the second of a jubilant heaven. The third movement speaks of 'two thousand years of wrong' - the wars and persecution that have disfigured the last two millennia - and the last movement leads us from death to life, with a positive and joyful hope for the future: in the words of the hymn: 'When peace shall over all the earth its ancient splendours fling'. The text has been selected from a variety of poets and sources, ranging from mediaeval times to the present day. The score available here is the vocal score, with a piano reduction of the orchestral parts: for avaialablity of full score and parts please contact alanbullardmusic@gmail.com or colneedition@gmail.comThe link is to a YouTube scrolling scorewww.alanbullard.co.uk.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.779348 Composed by John Stafford Smith. Arranged by Shelton Ridge Love. Folk,Holiday,Patriotic. Octavo. 14 pages. Shelton Ridge Love #3096887. Published by Shelton Ridge Love (A0.779348). Arranged for SATB choir with piano duet (one piano, four hand) accompaniment, this majestic arrangement of The Star-Spangled Banner is perfect for every American patriotic concert or celebration. After a fanfare opening, the audience is invited to participate in the pledge to the flag and the first stanza. The choir then sings the lesser-known second stanza, concluding with a triumphant coda.At this time, the companion recording includes only digitized voices, so the lyrics for the entire arrangement are included below. (Lyrics by Francis Scott Key)America! America!God shed his grace on thee!O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.O say, does that star-spangled banner yet waveO'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?O thus be it ever when free men shall standBetween their loved homes and the war's desolation!Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the head'n-rescued landPraise the pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must when our cause it is just,And this be our motto: In God is our trust! And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall waveO'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!Ah! America!

Alto Voice,Bass Voice,Piano Accompaniment,Soprano voice,Tenor Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1318498 Composed by Phillips Brooks and Lewis H Redner. Arranged by Connie Boss. Christian,Christmas,Holiday. 10 pages. Connie Boss #907165. Published by Connie Boss (A0.1318498). This version has an optional beginning. I have choir humming for the first three measure. There is a soloist that starts singing after that. The optional part is to not play the piano until half way through the verse. There is accompaniment if you prefer. You can hear on the mp3 how it sounds being a cappella until then. It is for SATB voices. I have also added additions to each verse that is different than the original with new lyrics and music. It adds a little bit to this iconic song. Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1137248 Composed by John Ross. Classical,Patriotic. Octavo. 12 pages. John Ross #737448. Published by John Ross (A0.1137248). “For the Fallen†was written for Bec Beall and her choir “Lux Alba†and was premiered by them in 2019 at St Matthew’s Church, Albury, NSW, Australia. The words of this choral suite were written by the English poet Laurence Binyon in 1914, immediately after the Battle of Mons, where the British Expeditionary Force suffered a serious loss, soon after the start of World War I. The fourth verse (“They shall not grow old as we that are left grow oldâ€) has become known as the “Ode of Remembranceâ€, regularly recited at memorial services. This suite uses the words of the Ode for the first movement, with echoes of the bugle call “The Last Postâ€. The second movement, “They went with songs to the battle†portrays the soldiers as young men in fine fettle, physically and mentally fit for what lies ahead of them. The third movement, “As the stars that shall be bright as we are dust†compares the war dead to stars and constellations. They move “in marches upon the heavenly plainâ€. Will Longstaff’s painting “Menin Gate at Midnight†(reproduced on the cover of this score) movingly illustrates this concept, with ghostly soldiers marching by the Menin Gate at Ypres, Belgium. The work concludes with an alternate setting of the opening movement “They shall not grow oldâ€. A version of this suite with organ accompaniment is also available on this website.
