This is a delightful little Italian folk song taught to me by Karin and Giancarlo Grinda and this arrangement borrows from their performance of it. An easy introduction into the Italian language for school or community choirs, it can be performed either acapella or with the piano.

This Choral Score contains the SATB parts plus a piano reduction of the full score for strings and piano in this medley of three traditional Christmas carols, Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella – What Child Is This? – Wexford Carol, and is necessary to be purchased in quantity for the choir. The piano part is different from the one used for contrasting color in the full score and is designed for rehearsal purposes, but, in the absence of strings when budgetary considerations prevent the hiring of instrumentalists, this medley could be performed quite effectively with just the choral score and the piano accompaniment contained therein.
