Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955809 Composed by Greg Kurstin, Gregory Allen Kurstin, and Lily Allen. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Contemporary. 14 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6087437. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955809). Fuck You by Lily Allen and Greg Kurstin is oft’ times considered a quasi-gay anthem because of its textural message.  However, it really is a protest song against President George W. Bush, and is apropos to the current political climate.  This song was performed in the 2012 film Pitch Perfect, singing Eff You instead – a sensible compromise for the weak of heart.  This arrangement is for a 4-part SATB ensemble with piano accompaniment.  Performance time: 4:02.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1211960 Composed by Robert Jones. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Classical,Historic,Instructional,Renaissance. Octavo. 7 pages. Scott S. Stewart #809508. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.1211960). “What If I Seek for Love†(1601), by English composer Robert Jones (c.1577-1617), who was one of the most prolific composers and lutenists of his day.  Of the more popular musical forms of English Renaissance (the late 15th century to the early 1600’s) was the lute song: a piece for single voice accompanied by the lute.  Most lute songs are about love and tended to be a rather melancholy affair with disdainful ladies refusing to acknowledge the ardent advances of hopeful lovers – as is “What If I Seek for Loveâ€.  This 2023 setting is scored for 4-part SATB ensemble and keyboard accompaniment.  It can be performed either a cappella or with accompaniment, the SATB voicings will stand alone  The simple melody and poetry of Jones is retained and embellished with the piano accompaniment.  This is an excellent piece for young singers, introducing them to style, form and technique.  Performance time: 1:30+-.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955891 Composed by traditional German folksong (c.1820). Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Concert,Folk,Standards. Octavo. 9 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6789441. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955891). Du, du liegst mir im Herzen (You, you are in my heart) is a tender folk song believed to have originated in northern Germany around 1820. Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1087954 Composed by John J. Bucchino. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. 20th Century,A Cappella,Contemporary,Praise & Worship. 6 pages. Scott S. Stewart #692188. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.1087954). “Do Not Turn Away†by songwriter John Bucchino is a song born of the AIDS era, inspired by the story of ‘a young boy, who was HIV positive, who had come out to his parents’ and ‘they kicked him out of the house’. This situation of being ‘disowned’ by one’s family prevails throughout the LGBTQ community today. And this hymn-like ballad inspires us all to remember that “How we live, is no more choice than the way we die… don’t condemn (but) comfort them.†This arrangement is for 4-part SATB ensemble to be performed a cappella. Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus divisi - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1505628 Composed by traditional 18th century Scottish air. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. A Cappella,Celtic,Folk,Irish,Standards,Traditional. 16 pages. Scott S. Stewart #1081019. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.1505628). “Farewell to Tarwathie” is probably best known from Judy Collins’ recording of 1970 that was accompanied by the songs of Humpback whales; but it started first with a poem written by the Scottish poet-peasant George Scroggie, published in 1857.  His poem was accompanied by the traditional 18th century Scottish air “Kennet’s Dream”. Thus, the marriage of Scroggie’s words to a well-known Scottish fiddle tune gives us the “Farewell to Tarwathie” as we know it today.  It is a song about a young sailor saying good-bye to family and friends as he heads out to sea to find riches in hunting the whale.  This arrangement is scored for a traditional choral mixed ensemble with divisi [SMATTBB] (at times) and a bass-baritone solo, to be performed a cappella.  Performance time: 5:30+-.
