It spent twelve weeks in the top 5 of the Billboard Chart.Written by Peter Cetera (Chicago’s bassist, who also sang lead vocals) and the group’s producer David Foster (who played piano on the track), the song is about a person trying desperately to hold on to a relationship that has fizzled out, promising to make up for his/her indiscretions and playing the we’ve been through so much card.Hard to Say I’m Sorry was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in September 1982. Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1329845 By R.E.M. By Michael Mills, Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, and William Berry. Arranged by Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd. A Cappella,Pop,Rock. 11 pages. Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd #917831. Published by Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd (A0.1329845). SATB arrangement of Losing My Religion with optional SA divisi. The many verses of Losing My Religion, all sung in the same small range, almost like a chant, suggested the possibility of creating a theme and variations a cappella arrangement, which begins with a pseudo plainchant over drones, then picking up speed to the original tempo and lead vocal style, combined with a variety of accompanying vocal textures.A few optional extra notes have been added to the soprano and alto parts in the case of there being more than one singer or subsection. The large head notes are the ones to sing when there is only one singer per part.

I hope you enjoy this arrangement of It's Gonna Be Me! This arrangement was originally written for 8 voices for the semi-professional group, The Philly Accents, and was rewritten as a 6 piece arrangement with occasional splits. This was a passion project after the group heard the Lawrence & Brasstracks version of the NSYNC classic, and was so graciously mixed by my friend David Shane. Additional arranging work done by Jaysen Rosario and Kevin Kelso of The Philly Accents.
