Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.747215 Composed by Christopher R. Brown. Christian,Gospel,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 11 pages. Christopher Brown #4756805. Published by Christopher Brown (A0.747215). About the song: In Psalm 22:22, David writes, I will praise You to all my brothers; I will stand up before the congregation and testify to the wonderful things You have done. Again, in Psalm 66:16, the psalmist says, Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what He did for me. Jesus, after healing a man with a demon, commands the man to go home... and report the great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you. The testimony of a life changed by God's love and His great mercy is a powerful tool for both spreading the Good News and resisting temptation. It is good for us to remember and proclaim, both personally and collectively, the great things the Lord has done. Can be performed with piano accompaniment only, OR with additional band members, OR with full orchestra*.Please Note:You can purchase individual copies of the vocal part separately on Sheet Music Plus. Performance of this piece requires the purchase of one vocal score per singer.*Full orchestration and parts also available on Sheet Music Plus.Included in your Purchase:Piano AccompanimentLyrics:Verse 1Let me tell you a story of grace,How the Son of Man died in my place.Raised to life, all my sin was erased.Praise the Name of the Lord.Verse 2Many times I have asked of the Lord,On my knees I have prayed and implored. In the waiting my soul is restored,Praise the Name of the Lord.Chorus 1This is what the Lord has done for me,Paid my debt and set this captive free.Mercy flowed down at Calvary,This is what the Lord has done for me.Verse 3When I’m tempted to fear the unknown,I’m reminded I don’t walk alone.Christ is with me and He’ll lead me home,Praise the Name of the Lord.Chorus 2This is what the Lord has done for me,Paid my debt and set this captive free.Mercy flowed down at Calvary,This is what the Lord has done for me.BridgeOpened these blind eyes to see,Softened this heart to believe,Pardoned my sin on a tree,Now I stand redeemed.Key Change (up whole tone)Chorus 3This is what the Lord has done for me,Paid my debt and set this captive free.Mercy flowed down at Calvary,This is what the Lord has done for me.Chorus 4This is what the Lord has done for me,Paid my debt and set this captive free.Mercy flowed down at Calvary,This is what the Lord has done for me.This is what the Lord has done for me.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1074352 Composed by Stanley M Hoffman. Classical,Contemporary. Octavo. 32 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #678653. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.1074352). PROGRAM NOTES As of the present writing, this choral tone poem had been gestating for over thirty years, and the concept and harmonies for it for over forty years. In the 1980s I began to work with the latter two in my brief orchestral piece Little Sea Nocturne. When reading the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1849), I am most struck by how musical they are. When recited aloud they exhibit their own rhythmic sense. I was eager to incorporate those rhythms into my music. I had long been familiar with his poem The City In the Sea and began to sketch choral passages for the present choral tone poem in the 1990s. It took me until 2022 to complete it because I required many more years of experience at my craft to do so to lead into out of the choruses. In 2012 I completed a seven-minute unaccompanied version of the choruses with music unique to and unifying it simply called The City In the Sea. In composing The City In the Sea - Choral Tone Poem, my goal was to write a piece that, while steeped in tradition, sounds unlike anything in the literature that had come before it. The result is an original hybrid work that successfully and memorably combines salient aspects of the tonal, atonal, and modal musical languages into an organic whole. George Perle coined the term “twelve-tone tonality†to describe the music of Alban Berg and composers influenced by him such as Luigi Dallapiccola. The last title of which I am aware that accomplishes anything remotely related to what I am trying to accomplish musically in this choral tone poem is the piece Paradiso Choruses by Donald Martino (1974). However, I take twelve-tone tonality in entirely other directions in my work. That the duration of The City In the Sea - Choral Tone Poem came out to be thirteen minutes seems appropriate for piece about a sunken city. Rather than write program notes that narrate how the music unfolds I will simply shout out the most memorable aspects of what careful listeners will discern: a recurring heartbeat motif; shifting polychordal harmonies; echo technique; rhythmic diminutions and augmentations; an a cappella chorus featuring those harmonies with a surprisingly memorable recuring theme on top; sensuous flute duets; string section underpinnings by way of either sustained passages or wave-like gestures; tritone-related melodies, harmonies, and tone centers; several strategically placed grand pauses; tritone-related modal-sounding passages; melodic and chord clusters, especially the two climactic ones. INSTRUMENTATION 2 Flutes (2. doubles on Piccolo) 2 Oboes (2. doubles on English Horn) 2 Bb Clarinets 2 Bassoons 2 F Horns 2 C Trumpets 2 Trombones Tuba Timpani Percussion (Gong, Bass Drum, Chimes, Glockenspiel) Harp Strings DURATION 13:00 Stanley M. Choral Choir,Choral (4-Part) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1281412 Composed by Randall Donald. Arranged by Randall Donald. Christian,Christmas,Early Music. 6 pages. Randall Donald #872756. Published by Randall Donald (A0.1281412). Personent hodie is a Christmas carol originally published in the 1582 Finnish song book Piae Cantiones. A melody found in a 1360 German manuscript is highly similar, and it is from this manuscript that the music is usually dated. The carol became more prominent in England after being arranged for unison voices and orchestra in 1916 by Gustav Holst. This arrangement is written for a choir that usually sings SAB music and can split the soprano. Originally notated in D Dorian and sung by male voices, this version is transposed up a whole tone for a better fit for women's voices and harmony   SSAB A Cappella ChoirISMN 979-0-9025253-1-2.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.701458 Composed by Kevin G. Pace, Kathryn W. Hales. Christian,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 3 pages. Kevin G. Pace #3125373. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.701458). An original hymn about pioneer women. See the text by Kathryn Hales below.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/fHirSHGBR0M The women walked alongside the wagons, The burden on oxen to spare, Wrapped in a shawl or a blanket, Their feet often calloused and bare.   They met at the quarter-master’s wagon, Their own scant rations to receive, Then with culinary skills prepared A meal, a family’s hunger to relieve.   Their prayers arose like incense From the campfires’ spark-filled glow, That the God they believed in from Heaven Would bless their loved ones below.   Left alone to drive the wagons When military duty was the demand, Courageous pioneer women Obeyed the prophet’s commands.   Some lived to complete their journey; Some died by the trail on the way, Yet the trials or hardships encountered, Their faith in God did not sway.   Whether over the rivers or mountains They trudged onward each day, Till they arrived in The Valley, And prayed for more courage to stay.   Praise be to such pioneer women, Who with courage did their part, For the building up of a holy people, With Zion a goal of their hearts.   Valiant men have always needed Virtuous women by their sides, So both can progress together And in God’s eternal home abide.

Christ would bear the cost. The bitter cup, He drank it up that none be lost.Falsely jailed and tortured, He wore a crown of thorn,Shunned by all His people, left lonely and forlorn.Crucified upon a cross, nails pierced flesh and bone.He suffered more, but meekly bore the cost alone. Help me to remember my soul is not my own.Purchased with His precious blood, I kneel at His throne. When He gave His life for me, worth more than all gold. His love for me, I clearly see and I am sold.CHORUSHelp me to remember ev'ry promise I have madeTo honor and obey Him for the price He paid.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.894408 Composed by Zack Richards. Holiday,Patriotic,Sacred,Spiritual,World. Octavo. 6 pages. Zack Richards #5821179. Published by Zack Richards (A0.894408). I wrote this piece in response to the #BlackLivesMatter Protests across the United States and world during the early summer of 2020. The extreme extent of peaceful protests and violent riots demonstrated the desperate need for change in a way I had not witnessed before. I knew quickly that I wanted to write music in some sort of response to the situation, but I struggled at first to find my voice within the movement. I am a white male and have experienced the privilege that comes with it. No matter how much I sympathized or understood the struggles of minorities in our culture, I knew I could not possibly bring the full meaning of it through my music, as I could never really experience the trials they have faced constantly for so long. So instead I decided to write words and music that reflected how I hoped things would be going forward after this movement. I wanted this to be an anthem for those who have suffered through real oppression, in any form. While there are some religious undertones in the text I chose, I tried to find words that could resonate with anyone, reaching beyond color, culture, belief, orientation, age, or any other dividing label. I tried to write in regard to one thing we all have in common, humanity. I hope I was able to accomplish this. The anthem can be done in parts or unison or as a solo. It can also be done with or without accompaniment.
