By R.E.M. By Michael Mills, Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, and William Berry. Arranged by Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd. A Cappella,Pop,Rock. 11 pages. Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd #917831. Published by Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd (A0.1329845).

SATB arrangement of Losing My Religion with optional SA divisi.

The many verses of Losing My Religion, all sung in the same small range, almost like a chant, suggested the possibility of creating a theme and variations a cappella arrangement, which begins with a pseudo plainchant over drones, then picking up speed to the original tempo and lead vocal style, combined with a variety of accompanying vocal textures.

A few optional extra notes have been added to the soprano and alto parts in the case of there being more than one singer or subsection. The large head notes are the ones to sing when there is only one singer per part.
