Score. 11 pages. Connie Boss #6403321. Published by Connie Boss (A0.801673). This lovely French carol is about two women that found out that Jesus was born and that he was very special. They went around the town to let everyone know. They made food for Mary and Joseph. They warned others to be very quiet as to not awaken Jesus if he was sleeping. This is in SATB parts with piano accompaniment. It has a unique intro and the last verse has SATB taking turns. cdboss@cvalley.netBring a Torch Jeanette, Isabella French Carol Arranged by Connie Boss   Bring a torch Bring a torch Bring a torch Bring a torch Jeanette, Isabella.   Bring a torch, Jeanette, Isabella! Bring a torch, to the stable call Christ is born, tell the folk of the village Jesus is born and Mary's calling. Ah![a] Ah! Beautiful is the Mother! Ah! Ah! Beautiful is her Child   Who is knocking on the door? Who is it, knocking like that? Open up, we've arranged on a platter Lovely cakes that we have brought here Knock! Knock! Open the door for us! Knock! Knock! Let us celebrate!   It is wrong when the Child is sleeping, It is wrong to speak so loud. Silence, now as you gather around Him Lest your noise should waken Jesus. Hush! Hush! See how He slumbers; Hush! Hush! See how He's fast asleep!   Softly now unto the stable, Softly for a moment come! Look and see how charming is Jesus, Look at Him there,] His cheeks are rosy! Hush! Hush! See how the Child is sleeping; Hush! Hush! See how He smiles in His dreams

Choral Choir (SATB divisi) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1281244 By Javier Busto. By Javier Busto. Arranged by Javier Busto. 21st Century,A Cappella,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary. Octavo. 4 pages. Bustovega #872588. Published by bustovega (A0.1281244). SAGASTIPEAN: This work has attained great popularity even though it’s written in Basque language. The music is divided in three sections with different atmospheres:A- Introduction: (bars 1/10). A man is sleeping calmly looking at the sky and his dream turns into a dance (bars 11/38).B- Second verse: (bars 39/46). He makes a comparison between the five medlar stones and the five sorrows of his heart. But gradually he stars to feel happy and sings a lively song (bars 47/63).C- The last section is a lovely melody which transports him to a deep dream (nonsense lyrics: Jir, jir… mi…zanka mar…).* The lyrics from Inazio Mujika are in Basque language.  Spanish and English translation of the text is included for those who hardly recognize Basque language. Furthermore, a small introductory guide can be found in the score for a correct Basque pronunciation.*This song has been recorded on a CD in 2005 under the conduction of composer Javier Busto himself. The CD goes over 25 years of composing and contains exclusively music for mixed choirs. Name of the CD: HONDARRIBIA… AMETSETAN.
