GRACE DARLING: One of my full length family plays in the TYNE ONSTAGE series of original musicals. With Drama, Comedy and Song they offer a new source of material to any Producer, Director or Teacher in the Performing Arts looking for original stories with great songs, covering a wide range of musical styles.

GRACE DARLING was known as the ‘Heroine of the Farne Islands’ off the Northumberland coast where she lived with her family in the Longstone Lighthouse. She became a household name when in 1838 along with ther father William Darling rowed out in a North Sea gale to rescue 9 passengers from the capsized paddle steamer Forfarshire. Honoured by royalty, her fame was short-lived as she died of Tuberculosis in 1842 aged only 27. This musical is based partly on her life which I’ve interwoven with a love story.

This album includes the Piano & Vocal Score along with the full Libretto.

Singer's Musical Theory is multi-level series of workbooks designed to help singers learn music reading and theory. The three-verse text of the motet for mixed choir (SATB) and basso continuo was written by Friedrich Gottlob Klopstock who kept close to the Advent song of the same name by Philipp Nicolai. During Zelter's lifetime, the motet enjoyed great popularity. And quite rightly so: For the music teacher and friend of Goethe turned out to be a composer with an extraordinary sense of tone. An introductory choral movement is followed by a captivating bass aria which can be optionally sung by all basses of the choir. The piece culminates in an elaborate virtuoso fugue with an interwoven cantus firmus in the bass. A demanding, yet highly rewarding rarity in church music!

Dickinson’s depth in her symbolism are represented in in each voice through serene melodic and rhythmic movement as well as exquisite harmonies that are blended throughout. Clifford W. King is an award-winning Salt Lake City-based composer, teacher and singer. Recent commissions include the Salt Lake Choral Artists, Cantorum Chamber Choir and Wasatch Chorale. His recording credits include the soundtrack to various video games and television programs. His teachers and mentors include Brady Allred, Clayton Furch, Mark Henderson, Evelyn Harris, Miguel Chuaqui, and Igor Iacimciuc among many others His music is published by Carus-Verlag and Hinshaw Music. He is the composer for the popular YouTube series and Podcast Profiling Evil. Cliff loves slightly out-of-tune pianos, bighorn sheep, and rooibos tea.
