Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1354442 Composed by Traditional Scots Gaelic. Arranged by Stephen Smith. A Cappella,Celtic,Folk,Irish,Multicultural,Traditional,World. 1 pages. Stephen Smith #939143. Published by Stephen Smith (A0.1354442). It's not every day you sing about edible bivalves, but in this song you do! The arrangement is fun and easy, and was actually written with smaller and perhaps poorly balanced choirs in mind: there are never more than three parts to the harmony, so one of the four sections is always doubling one of the others, in a rotating fashion! The notes and rhythms are very straightforward, and although the Gaelic words are a bit tongue-twisting, a mere five bars' worth -- five short text fragments -- serve for the whole song, and a phonetic approximation of the pronunciation is provided. The piece is only about a minute long, so it makes a good encore, or a fast and flashy finale for a folksong set!

Kevin G. Pace #888474. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1298595). A beautiful choral anthem with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.Text:I was not there in the Garden that day.I was not there when dear Jesus prayed.I was not there when God heard his Son cry,“Remove this cup; must I freely comply?â€I was not there when He anguished in pain.I was not there to view unjust shame.I was not there when He paid for my sins,Yet with repentance I’ll still live with Him.I was not there when Christ gifted all men.I was not there to see angels then.I was not there when He trembled for hours,But I can witness his pure, holy power.I was not there when Christ suffered for me;I was not there in Gethsemane.I was not there when He died on the cross,Yet for his gift I would ever be lost.I was not there when love dripped from His pores,But I can share His great love evermore.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.995182 Arranged by Anthony Bannach. Contemporary,Gospel,Praise & Worship,R & B,Spiritual. Octavo. 11 pages. Anthony Bannach Music #5371615. Published by Anthony Bannach Music (A0.995182). This piece is an arrangement of the traditional spiritual There is a Balm in Gilead. No one is precisely sure who first wrote the words to this song, but many people speculate it is the result of a combination of the efforts of Washington Glass's hymn The Sinner's Cure, and John Newton, whose original hymn most likely had an additional refrain added to it by Glass. The song's title refers to the biblical passage Jeremiah 8:22 : Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wounds of my [God's] people?

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1102947 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Mary Ann W. Snowball. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 3 pages. Kevin G. Pace #706274. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1102947). A beautiful, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball. Text: When life seems unsure, with no lasting cure, Questions come about turning faith to doubt. When you feel alone, and no care is shown, When it’s hard to stand, take God’s steady hand. Take his hand! Take his hand when life’s not what was planned. Take his hand; He’ll lend his strength—He can. Just take his hand. Oh, take his hand. When in dark despair, when no one is there, When belief is small and all trust is stalled, When cast down with shame, hear his holy Name. When life’s filled with fear, know He’s very near. He is near! He is near and to Him you are dear. He is near and He will dry your tears. Oh, He is near. Know He is near. When sore trials come, when shade covers sun, When all hope is past and belief won’t last, When God’s arm is bare and His voice seems rare, There is only One. Know that He will come. He will come! He will come when senses feel so numb. He will come when blessings seem undone. Oh, He will come. Know He will come. Take his hand! When it’s hard to stand, oh take his hand, for He is near! When life’s filled with fear, know He is near, and He will come! There is only One. Oh, He will come. There is only One and He will come.
