Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.887281 Composed by Michelle Willis. A Cappella,Contemporary. Octavo. 10 pages. Teton Music #5033147. Published by Teton Music (A0.887281). SATB, a cappellaWritten for the Early Light Academy Spotlight Singers (South Jordan, UT) and taken from actual responses from the students they were asked, when people look at you, what do you want them to see? This song is intended to be a very personal expression for the singers as well as for the audience.Text:I see: eyes and a face, hands and feetYou see: the sameI see: tears and a smile, working, movingYou see: the sameI see: pain, joy, strength, enduranceYou see, you think you see-but you can’t name it.I see you, please see me.When you look at me, see a person who isn’t afraid to be-- just be.I am tall or I am small, but I am happy to be me.I may be confident or meek, I may be really strong or weak,And if it changes week to week, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you see me.When you listen, notice that my voice may sometimes raise the roofAnd other times it may seem aloof when I cannot find the proofOf what is truth and what is fair, but listen ‘til you hear me shareAnd know deep down I really care, because it matters. It matters that you see me.I see: someone who is strong and kind, someone who knows their mind, Someone who struggles just like me, but keeps fighting endlesslyI see you, please see me.I see: a soul who fin’ly knows I’m hereAnd doesn’t judge if I bow down to smallish fearsYou see me, and I see you, there’s nothing greater we can doThan to acknowledge we’re all trav’ling down this road,But not alone. It matters-That I see you-and you see me.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.701653 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Michael Young. Christian,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 2 pages. Kevin G. Pace #3241499. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.701653). An original hymn with text by Michael Young below.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/IYJ1IZr-6tQ1. In Eden, then in Canaan's land,Then in Israel was heard. The voice of God, both still and grand,Prophets wrote His holy word. The Stick of Judah lent its voice,Witnessing of Christ to come,And making all who read rejoiceIt was the part, but not the sum.2. First in a stable as a child, On the shores of Galilee,Some heard Christ’s words, pure, undefiled,Many wrote what they did see.The Stick of Judah grew againWitnessing the Christ who came. How once our Savior dwelt with men,And cleansed mankind of sin and blame.3. In wilderness and on the sea,And then in the Promised Land. Both Nephi and his seed were free,And did God’s grace understand. The Stick of Joseph then sprang up,Witnessing of Christ as well,Of him who drained the bitter cup,Who redeemed their souls from hell.4. The Stick of Judah is one voice, The Stick of Joseph unitesIts witness, and gives us the choice, Of heeding both these two lights. Two witness of Christ who lives, Who came and will soon again, Until that time, His words He gives, None may know the hour when.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.991352 Composed by Greg Wilson. Christian,Jewish. Octavo. 14 pages. Gregory Wilson #2930197. Published by Gregory Wilson (A0.991352). Baruch HaBa is hebrew for Blessed is He who Comes... (in the name of the LORD). This is a quote from Psalm 118:26 - (Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD). This is also what the people were quoting when they welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem in Matthew 21:9. Later, in Matthew 23:38, as Jesus laments of Jerusalem he uses this same phrase, saying Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! 39 For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ So this was after they had already welcomed him, and now I guess are about to betray Him. Some people thinks this means Jesus will not return the 2nd time til the Jewish people say Blessed is Jesus who comes in the name of the LORD! So this song celebrates Jesus first coming, and invites his next coming.

Choral Choir (SATB divisi) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841250 Composed by Chris Gordon. Contemporary. Octavo. 18 pages. Cool Wind Music Digital #3029087. Published by Cool Wind Music Digital (A0.841250). A setting of a very powerful poem by English poet, Ted Hughes, about the onset of autumn in an English (Yorkshire) garden and the surrounding countryside.  It is full of pathos and passion, harmony and dissonance, chaos and peace - just like English weather! This is a very individual and innovative choral setting of Hughes' poem which is, itself, rich in 'meaty' metaphor and colour - and the composer is a vegetarian! It evokes a savage Nature within a savage landscape where humans and animals compete for space and for food. It is October, the fields and woods and gardens of rural Yorkshire are readying themselves for the cold and desolation (and despair) of winter which isn't far away in time. 'A glass, half-filled with wine, left out(side) To the dark heaven all night, by dawn Has dreamed a premonition of ice across its eye as if the ice-age had begun its heave.'   That is only two and a half stanzas but you see from these lines that there are veiled threats of (Nature's) violence in the heavy tread of the poet's slowly-building angst over what is happening in the surrounding countryside - and his fear grows, and his awe grows, with every line. There is even fear underlining the very last line: 'And now it is about to start.' Winter is creeping closer and closer towards the house and it will not be pleasant to experience!I have tried to instil a little of this in the music which keeps skidding from consonance to dissonance and back to consonance. Sometimes the dissonance piles up, like snow driven by the wind piles up into deep banks; sometimes the music relaxes into stillness and calm (painted in tonal music) like a crisp, mild late autumn or early winter's day when the sun warms the landscape and life appears bearable, tolerable. I hope this adds to the song's 'charm'. It wasn't easy to write: sometimes the right music was elusive. The music ends with the word 'October' repeated three times, with voices overlapping in a little canon. This conjures up the wistful feelings of the poet as he looks out onto a peaceful scene, soon to be filled with all manner of 'natural violence', while his inner peace will soon be shattered by the mayhem about to be unleashed around him.Setting Ted Hughes is no easy task. It is for choirs and choirmasters to judge if I have succeeded in conveying the 'sense and sensibility' of a classic 20th century English poem. The price is for one copy: please purchase a sufficient number of scores if you intend to perform this work. SATB Chorus, Piano, Flute, Trumpet, Shaker - Digital Download SKU: IZ.VMF222 Composed by Robert M. Shearn. Score and Parts. 19 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #VMF222. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.VMF222). 9 x 12 inches.Easter Morn functions best in a worship setting during the Easter season. However, it has been used, on occasion, in a concert setting as well. Within liturgy or other worship settings, it is best used as a reflection piece: an affirmation song following the proclamation of the Gospel, or as a thanksgiving piece following the communion rite. While a full SATB choir, with piano, flute, percussion, and brass can yield splendid results, Easter Morn is easily adaptable for use during a simple outdoor sunrise service using guitar and vocals, or with light instrumentation. The tenor of the piece is festive and joyful, yet, somewhat subdued. Fear and confusion initially gripped the women disciples who discovered the tomb empty and first heard the angel's question, “why do you seek the living among the dead? It was not until later when the words of Jesus regarding his resurrection sunk in: “just as he said, JUST AS HE SAID, that their joy overflowed in a chorus of alleluias! Navigating this tension, and capturing this dynamic is key to an effective performance of the piece.

Pace #730069. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1129659). A fun, jazzy, energetic choral composition telling the story of Ebed-Melech and how he saved the prophet Jeremiah. Music by Kevin G. Pace. Text by Kathryn W. Hales. Text: The Good Book says that Moses Was buried by the hand of God; And those bitten by fiery serpents Were healed by lookin’ at a rod. Elijah was taken up to heaven By a chariot of fire, But the prophet Jeremiah Was cast into a pit of mire. “Can’t you hear me, Lord?” Jeremiah is a’cryin’, “Wilt Thou deliver me? For I am surely dyin’.” The Lord touched the heart On one Ethiopian And says to Ebed-Melech, “Go and save my son.” That black man, he did hearken And went straight up to the king, “What you’ve done to Jeremiah Is a very wicked thing.” “Can’t you see his misery? Can’t you hear him cryin’? Let me deliver him, O King, For he is surely dyin’.” Then Zedekiah repented, Said, “Go get Jeremiah Out of that old dungeon Out of the pit of mire. Take thirty strong men with you Do not delay or wait, Bring the prophet up again Before it is too late.” Ebed went to the pit, Called down into the dark, “I’s a comin’ to save you, Now, oh man, take heart. The king has relented, But before we start, Put old rags beneath your arms, So the ropes won’t leave a mark. Poor Jeremiah was so weak, He’d almost lost all hope, The men did gently lift him up ‘Cause he couldn’t climb the rope. He was kept in prison, But now he had some food, Until the Babylonians came To seize the multitude. ‘Twas an Ethiopian that saved him, A servant to Judah’s King, Blessed be the name of Ebed-Melek For doin’ such brave things. The Lord uses many people From every tribe and race To be an instrument in His hands, An implement of His grace. “Repent all House of Judah,” Jeremiah kept on a’cryin’, “Turn unto the Lord again, Otherwise you’all be dyin’. His words come down through the years To the people of today, “Repent and turn back to the Lord, And walk His chosen Way.”.

Published by Shelton Ridge Love (A0.779348). Arranged for SATB choir with piano duet (one piano, four hand) accompaniment, this majestic arrangement of The Star-Spangled Banner is perfect for every American patriotic concert or celebration. After a fanfare opening, the audience is invited to participate in the pledge to the flag and the first stanza. The choir then sings the lesser-known second stanza, concluding with a triumphant coda.At this time, the companion recording includes only digitized voices, so the lyrics for the entire arrangement are included below. (Lyrics by Francis Scott Key)America! America!God shed his grace on thee!O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.O say, does that star-spangled banner yet waveO'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?O thus be it ever when free men shall standBetween their loved homes and the war's desolation!Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the head'n-rescued landPraise the pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must when our cause it is just,And this be our motto: In God is our trust! And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall waveO'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!Ah! America!

A Cappella,Folk,Multicultural,Traditional,World. 2 pages. Kathleen McGuire #902556. Published by Kathleen McGuire (A0.1313835). This traditional West African folk song (lullaby or processional) is highly versatile. The arrangement includes performance suggestions, plus instructions for body percussion or added ad lib African percussion. Arranger KATHLEEN MCGUIRE has incorporated ideas from various traditional sources into one page for ease of learning. It is suitable for any ages or abilities. Each of them wants to dominate the world. They don't want to be cooperative diligently; They use the dirty tricks instead; They use every possible means for cunning. When the saint raises only one foot high,While the devil has already jumped ten feet tall. They are blind at what the Doomsday is coming,They still love to rob and snatch. They would like to die together; You die and I die, too. What a shame. The human body contains cells. All cells have membranes. With membranes they know how to be selfish.Selfish genes have played an important role in evolution.Love yourself and your country is only a low level of selfishness; Sacrifices oneself and destroys countries are the high level of selfishness: The world must be for the global public welfare. It is really a kind of selfish seeking benefit only for human beings. Looking at the world today, Among Emperors, Empresses, Presidents and Chairmen,No one is worthy of become a future world leader. They only know how to love themselvesAnd their countries’ benefits in a naive way; They dislike to destroy all the countries,They don’t practice the rule for world population’s commonwealth, Knowing not the brilliance patriotism in the past Has becoming the hurdles on the road to globalization. How sad, how sad!Preparing to establish the “World Leadership Education Institute”.
