SATB choir unaccompanied - Moderately Easy - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8147-E Composed by Thomas Juneau. Advent, Christmas, Marian, 21st Century. Octavo. 7 pages. Duration 3 minutes, 20 seconds. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8147-E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8147-E). Latin.Capturing the joyful anticipation of the Advent season was my primary influence when composing Virga Jesse. Perhaps the most important image of the text is the blooming of the branch of Jesse. This blooming shines forth as the voices gather their strength to sing the brilliant culmination of the first section. The middle section illustrates the restoration of unity as all voices sing a homophonic hymn of peace. The motet’s final section illustrates a sense of reconciliation by returning to the opening material to offer one more glorious blossom of choral beauty.-Thomas JuneauDuration: 3:20.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1217424 By Charity Gayle. By Bryan Mccleery, Charity Gayle, David Gentiles, Ryan Kennedy, and Steven Musso. Arranged by Ken Litton. Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Octavo. 10 pages. Artist of Note, Inc. #813967. Published by Artist of Note, Inc. (A0.1217424). Thank You, Jesus, for the BloodĀ Words and Music by Charity Gayle, Ryan Kennedy, Steven Musso, David Gentiles & Bryan McCleery.Ā SATB with Keyboard, Optional solos: Alto & TenorAvailable at:www.SheetMusicDirect.comThis fine testimony and worship expression is limited to very practical ranges in unison, two, there and four parts, featuring a highly doable lift at the key change up to the key of C.And, even though there is a second voice in the tenor and bass voices at measure 57 the congregation could, optionally sing along in unison (having heard the refrain a couple of times). The accompaniment, though syncopated is about as simple as possible with very little in the left hand beyond beat three of any measure, especially when the right hand is busy. And—importantly—this arrangement retains the gospel hymn included in the artist version, but with a choral approach and a voicing that is more true to Down at the Cross in its hymnal versions, so ā€œIt’s more like we know it.Thanks, as always to the good folks at ArrangeMe.com, a division of Hal Leonard!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.939986 Composed by CĆ©sar Zumel. Christian,Sacred,Wedding. Octavo. 2 pages. CĆ©sar Zumel #3224713. Published by CĆ©sar Zumel (A0.939986). For a wedding, just S. Paul's letter to Corintians, the most requested lyric. Charming enough for the most important day. It is usual that in many weddings is read the letter of S. Paul to Corintians. Why only read and not sung? If you have sung in a wedding with low energy, this song can change that, easy to understad, sing and act. If you are married you will refresh your own wedding. From musical point of view, progresive energy is built up from introduction soft on the basis of El amor as obstinato. After that bass solo and choir answers. Next step is soprano melody acompanished by choir obstinato. Finally an unisono reinforce the main melody. Just for a ceremony it fits all requeriments.

Arranged by Lukas C Jaeger. 21st Century,A Cappella,Contemporary,Film/TV,Pop. 9 pages. Lukas C Jaeger #892652. Published by Lukas C Jaeger (A0.1303065). Who doesn't love the show Victorious? Growing up with this show, the title theme was such an ear worm... With a catchy easy melody (with optional solo harmony) this arrangement will really let one of your girls 'shine'! While some parts may feel fairly repetitive, they each play an important role- possessing a precise interlocking rhythm that fills the slight spaces in the other parts. It creates an arrangement with a very full sound and also helps to maintain a fittingly high energy throughout the piece. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser for any highschool or college audience!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.976710 Composed by Robert Myers. Christian,Concert,Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Octavo. 10 pages. WheatMyer Music #4767525. Published by WheatMyer Music (A0.976710). It Is Not Death to Die is a new setting of French poet Henri Abraham CĆ©sar Malan's Non, ce n'est pas mourir as translated by George Washington Bethune and adapted for this work. Why this text? It first came to my notice shortly after the passing of Billy Graham, who was known to paraphrase D. L. Moody,   Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I   am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.Graham's bold proclamation and Malan's poetry motivated me to focus anew on the resurrection, re-remembering it as the pivotal element of the Christian faith. For if there is no resurrection, Paul says in 1 Cor 15, our faith is useless. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead! Unfortunately, singing about heaven has, perhaps, been neglected of recent decades. We seem to have focused more on the already to the detriment of the not yet. But it is important to remember that this life is not all there is! Quoting Paul again, the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us (Rom 8:18). Yet, if Christ delays, the grim inevitability of our transition into eternity is a certain experience we all face. Malan's poetry so poignantly and eloquently captures this tension that it compelled me to compose a fresh musical setting that attempts to captures the mixture of dread and hope borne out in the acclamation that death is swallowed up in victory! I pray that this setting aids the Church to remember the great hope and promise Christ has granted us:   O Death, where is your victory?    O Death, where is your sting?_______________________________________________________________________________________________The music opens with a C# diminished chord in a very still and somber texture reflective of grief. The text is introduced with the first of two main motives, a rising 4-note outline of B minor in a triple repetition of It Is Not Death. As each stanza proceeds the music concludes on the second motive, a 5-note descending span of a minor 7th in Bb Lydian. The energy and mood of the music gradually shift over the five stanzas, as the focus moves from this life to the next; the texture thickens, the harmony expands, and the dynamic grows into the music’s pinnacle on reign with You on high! The music closes on a reprise of the opening section, simultaneously mindful of our mortality and our eternity.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.925770 Composed by David Nelson Jex. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Graduation. Octavo. 9 pages. David Jex #2154591. Published by David Jex (A0.925770). 2016 Choral Contest EntryArt is a fire! is a bold statement on the importance of Art in our lives and society.Composed for SATB Chorus and Piano it is of moderate difficulty, with a length of 3 1/2 minutes.. The text is from a poem written by our older son, Matthew. He has a gift to express ideas and emotions in words that I do not, and I was very pleased and excited when he gave me permission to set his poem to music. The music is in an overall ternary form, with the fiery outer sections tempered with a more spiritual middle segment. The piano plays an important but supporting accompanying role. The music is somewhat tonally oriented, with an E minor basis for the more passionate outer sections. These sections also require the choir to sing some chromatic melodic and harmonic lines and constructions. The rhythm also varies somewhat, asking the chorus to express these emotional portions of the piece. The flowing middle section has a more consistent tempo and is centered in C major. This key seems to have the qualities of innocence and peace, which offsets the more restless and fiery E minor of the rest of this work. This more meditative center section also has a more triadic basis than the somewhat contrapuntal textures surrounding it. It invites the music performers and listeners to experience the joy of Music and Art, while the closing music and text sing of the passion and energy of the artistic experience.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1002444 Composed by Graham Charles, Graham Charles (Abc Sattler, and Leonie Marion Cambage. Arranged by Elzbieta Ambrose. Contemporary. Octavo. 13 pages. Elizabeth (Elzbieta) Ambrose #6437199. Published by Elizabeth (Elzbieta) Ambrose (A0.1002444). The original name Duetto Buffo di Due Gatti (Comic Duet for Two Cats) composed by Giacomo Rossini is a comedy composition in an opera style. This arrangement is for four voices with piano accompaniment.Piano is a part of an act, starting too loudly and ā€˜shushed’ by four cats in bar two who are satisfied in bar 3 with mp playing. Bar 4 of the piano accompaniment adds an extra note to please all four cats. Please treat this music like a dialogue of four characters with the high authority from the bass line. The discussion turns to perfect harmony in bar 34 (Andantino) to move to dialogue between three voices against the soprano cat which wants to show of with the final cadence. This could be treated accordingly to soprano’s range and imagination. The given ending is only a suggestion. It can easily end on top ā€˜C’ or 'F'. The most important is the accuracy and security of each voice. They need to reflect the spirit of the characters. It is interesting how one simple miau can make this music so expressive. It is fun to sing and a treat to listen to. This is a very good choice for a light-hearted number for any concert, from an opera to recital. Four single voices could be doubled if once prefers. It could be challenging for the choir to keep the tight accuracy of each line but not impossible. Definitely a good choice for four secure voices who are eager to entertain.

Mixed choir (SATB) - easy - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q8363 Composed by Hermann Schroeder. This edition: choral score. Schott Choral Music. Downloadable, Choral score. Duration 2 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q8363. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q8363). German.Hermann Schroeder (1904-1984) taught music theory and choral direction at the Cologne Musikhochschule and is considered to be one of the most important Catholic church composers of the 20th century. For many decades, he conducted the Bach-Verein of Cologne and wrote numerous motets and masses, including 'Missa dorica' (Schott, C 33719). His liturgical choral works are deliberately easy to sing and are tailored to the needs and requirements of practical church music. He followed on from the art of classical vocal polyphony and gave the individual linear parts a life of their own in moderate modernity. In the present small motet (of about 2 minutes' duration) the cantus firmus is in the bass.

A Cappella,Classical,Film/TV,Multicultural,Opera,World. 20 pages. Alicia Dominguez #950447. Published by Alicia Dominguez (A0.1366086). Restaurador is a historical opera about the time in which it was restored (in the 19th century it would be called reconquistar, while in the 15th century it was called restoration), taking advantage of the strong internal crises of the Muslim world in the South of Spain. Alfonso de Arcos was part of the restoration of Jimena de la Frontera (CĆ”diz), the town of Estepona (MĆ”laga), helping many situations in North Africa, Alcazarseguer (Morocco), being mayor of Tarifa and who treasured the idea of situation and who will take Gibraltar, being its first mayor. In his last years he settled in Seville in the Monastery of Santa Maria de las Cuevas in La Cartuja, where he died. In which everything received in this historical period testamentally, his inheritance, was not given to the family, but to all the needy people of Tarifa and Gibraltar, and whoever needed it via the Cartuja monastery itself. This was the case with his entire inheritance for 200 years. Of which the family is very proud.Today Alicia Dominguez Arcos is from the Arcos family, the generational wave of Alfonso de Arcos. And today she is the first of this family branch who by chance was born in the area. Since the familiar roads are found in other Spanish cities. This Restorer for ā€œIbero-America is sung in choirā€ with SATBB voices in Spanish and English, with moments and words in both Latin and medieval Castilian. They are fragments of the fourth act of the opera, in which Alfonso de Arcos is already in his last moments, already being mayor of Tarifa, and being the first mayor of Gibraltar, circumstances of the will, situations with the friars in the monastery of the Cartuja as with the trance of his death.Being an important time in the southern area of Spain, specifically in the Campo of the Gibraltar.
