Choral Choir,Choral (SATB divisi) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1349477 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Mary Ann W. Snowball. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual. 11 pages. Kevin G. Pace #934234. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1349477). An epically beautiful, sacred choral work with baritone soloist.  Music by Kevin G. Pace.  Text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.Text:Shouldst Not the Heavens Weep?“ . . . for He loveth the world . . .”  (2 Nephi 26:24)In a striking prophecy and opened to his view,Enoch saw mortality as a glorious truth.Curtains of creation birthed God’s pure holy race.Yet what Enoch saw were tears on His saddened face. How is it that Thou canst weep? Thou art God of all!All eternity is thine . . . this thy sacred call.Mercy goes before thy eyes, truth before thy throne. How is it that Thou canst weep? All thy worlds are known.Of my soul pure children came, from my very hands.I gave mankind agency so all love could stand. But, behold, their sins I see; mis’ry is their doom.Seeing some shall suffer much, my heart feels entombed.Shouldest not the heavens weep for these ofmy own?Suff’ring for each child of mine, I for them atoned.Tears that fall are for their souls; these must suffer too.If they choose not to repent, my love seems untrue.Chorus:Shouldst not the heavens weep? God gave life to all.Shouldst not the heavens weep? His love covers all.

Come unto me and bring forth works Of righteousness built on faith; Remember the deliverance of your fathers And the words the prophets saith.   Strip yourselves of all pride and envy; Persecute not your brother; Be ready to help the needy and poor, Showing love to one another.   Receive my image in your countenance; Sing the song of redeeming love; Humble yourselves and trust in my voice, That comes from the heavens above.   Wash your garments in the blood of the Lamb; Steadfastly believe on my name; Have clean hands and a pure heart, Standing firm without guilt or shame.   Come to the fold of the Good Shepherd, Repent, overcome every sin; I’m calling with a voice so gentle, Come to my fold and enter in.

Dedicated to pioneers, the early Utah Mormon pioneers in particular.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/9JVJAuc7P_ABless this arm, keep it sound, as I turn this desert ground. Water flows from mountain stream. By Thy Hand, this land redeem. Sanctify all who toil, blessing all that grows. Let the desert now rejoice, blossom as the rose.   Bless all seeds, as I sow. Let them here take root and grow. Send Thy rains from up above, warming sunshine filled with love. May the toil of these hands, bring Thy blessings close. Let the desert now rejoice, blossom as the rose.   Fire or frost, wind or rain; may my work not be in vain. Help me prosper ev'ry day. Keep the locust still at bay. Through each trial, help me stand, in Thy strength repose. Let the desert now rejoice, blossom as the rose.   In my soul, deserts be, waiting to be turned by Thee. Let Thy blessing as the rain, open up my heart again. May the Lord, bless my toil, ev'ry weed dispose. Let the desert now rejoice, blossom as the rose.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.987892 Composed by David Tovey. 20th Century,A Cappella,Contemporary. Octavo. 7 pages. David Tovey #2165149. Published by David Tovey (A0.987892). Flowr is a 4 part choral arrangement that occasionally breaks into 8 parts.  It uses some triadic material, but mostly relies on chord clusters, created from 4ths or 5ths  to describe the text.  The overall effect of the music is quite mystical, particularly as it is wedded to text like with the ocean I feel your tears, the water of love.  With the earth I touch your hands, essence of the universe.  The music may be sung a Capella, but has a sparse piano part which is useful for finding pitches in both rehearsal and performance. .

Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1048313). A beautiful, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball. Text: Peace comes from heaven through Jesus Christ; He is the true Prince of Peace. Like giving manna to all around, He offers his kingly feast. Peace comes from heaven as we near his lavish table all spread. He feeds our souls through tranquility, nourishing with living bread. Peace comes from heaven through Jesus Christ to all of God’s cov’nant saints. As He empowers each one to serve, He lends to others his traits. Peacemakers choose to spread his love, bearing true peace in his stead. “My peace I give to you alone,” are holy words He has said. Peace comes from heaven through Jesus Christ, sensing a stillness to be. Peacemakers calm stormy souls of men, softening strife rev’rently, Clearing contentious clouds that clash, mending sore hearts of disdain. Peacemakers bring unity and calm, causing all tempers to tame. Peace comes from heaven through Jesus Christ; He filled the Father’s true plan. Peacemakers blessed from God’s perfect hands imitate his love of man. Hearing these sacred, holy words: “Peace, peace be unto thy soul,” Brings hope and stillness through God’s pure Name, letting his children be whole.

Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1503844 Composed by Carl Sandburg and Nathaniel Hontz. 20th Century,Contemporary,Holiday,Patriotic,Sacred. 7 pages. TigerSong LLC #1079298. Published by TigerSong LLC (A0.1503844). Carl Sandburg's Thanksgiving poem Fire Dreams, set for SATB choir. The music follows the rhythms of the poem, as it meditates on pilgrims and gratitude, and their place in our modern consciousness. The poem was written to be read aloud on Thanksgiving Day. Piano accompaniment intended for rehearsal only (although it can accompany performance).I remember here by the fire,In the flickering reds and saffrons,They came in a ramshackle tub,Pilgrims in tall hats,Pilgrims of iron jaws,Drifting by weeks on beaten seas,And the random chapters sayThey were glad and sang to God.And soSince the iron-jawed men sat downAnd said, Thanks, O God,For life and soup and a little lessThan a handout to-day,Since gray winds blew gray patterns of sleet on Plymouth Rock,Since the iron-jawed [wo]men sang Thanks, O God,You and I, O Child of the West,Remember more than everNovember and the hunter's moon,November and the yellow-spotted hills. And soIn the name of the iron-jawed menI will stand up and say yes till the finish is come and gone.God of all broken hearts, empty hands, sleeping soldiers,God of all star-flung beaches of night sky,I and my love-child stand up together to-day and sing: Thanks, O God..

Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1473148 Composed by P.D. Arranged by Jesse Ayers. Christian,Religious,Sacred,Traditional. 46 pages. Jesse Auers #1050770. Published by Jesse Auers (A0.1473148). A suite of four old hymns (each is available separately): Softly and Tenderly, There Is a Fountain, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, and an uptempo Amazing Grace. (See Youtube link for a medley of excerpts from each.)I. SOFTLY AND TENDERLYA quiet setting expressing the longing of the Savior for us to “come home.” Beginning with unison men over a simple Copland-esque accompaniment, it contains both the traditional harmonization familiar to audiences, as well as some brief, striking sojourns to remote tonalities used to underscore texts such as “though we have sinned He has mercy and pardon.”II. THERE IS A FOUNTAIN – ARE YOU WASHEDAn a cappella medley of the title hymn along with “Are You Washed?” and “Nothing But The Blood.” It begins slowly and softly with unison women singing the opening phrase “There is a fountain….” Later, the tempo picks up into a camp-meeting style for the other two hymns.III. WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSSA cappella. Austere and stately. The first verse is set with the traditional harmonization, the second verse is dramatically re-harmonized to paint the text “See from His head, His hands, His side.”IV. AMAZING GRACE COLLAGEA joyous, celebratory, up-tempo setting that weaves numerous quotes of other hymns into the fabric of John Newton’s beloved text.

Published by Chris Paul (A0.1031571). THE GOLDEN YEAR As this chapter of my life comes to a close, I leave behind me a vision; a dream of students living in the moment and making the best out of their high school experience, an image of the vibrant purple and gold bolstered by the classes below, a mark that will live on throughout the generations to come, and the orange skies that will always remind me of where I spent my happiest years. -Chris Paul   Chris Paul, a Jersey Village High School graduate(Class of 2017), wrote this ritualistic hymn during the second semester of his senior year. As graduation drew nigh, he reminisced about the time spent at his beloved Alma Mater, and dedicated ‘Departure’s Hymn’ to his classmates. Traditionally, the hymn is sung by the entire group/organization, while holding hands, in commemoration of those who are about to depart unto new endeavors.
