This is an arrangement for a lever/Irish harp and violin duet. It can also be played by a flute or whistle and harp accompaniment. It is in G major and needs no lever changes for the harp. The violin part is all in the first position and uses basic finger patterns. Second finger high and low. 
I arranged this for two of my students who are learning a few years.

A very well known Irish traditional tune in a simple arrangement for violin and harp. It is in the key of G. The violin player needs to be able to play with a low second finger and do some slurring. The slurring can also be done with 3 quavers in a slur but that could be a little harder. This has been arranged for and will be played by children who have had lessons for approximately two years. 
The violin part could be played by another melody instrument like flute. Some notes will need to come up an octave.
