This Charlie Christian series is written for four guitars, piano, bass, and drums.  Each arrangement includes harmonized solos recorded by Charlie Christian. All are from the Dixieland/swing era and are a tribute to Charlie Christian during the period he was performing with Benny Goodman. Some arrangements in this series have opportunities to improvise. All arrangements are in the Intermediate/Advanced category depending on which part is being analyzed.

These arrangements may be performed without a rhythm section and parts may be doubled for a larger guitar ensemble.

Benny's Bugle is 24 pages of music. It is based on 12-bar blues in the key of Bb and has a section to open for unlimited improvised solos.
