My quartet has parts that increase slightly in complexity from bass to tune, so thereâ??s something for everyone here. The bass line is supplied in both treble and bass clefs, and the two parts are identical, so for a large ensemble, you can have one or the other or both in your performance.Everything is comfortable to play, and my transcription is based on the gentle simplicity found in Cyndi Lauperâ??s official video, and placed in a key that suits the wide range of pitch in this piece.The music rises and falls as the song progresses, making the dynamics happen almost automatically. It's based on a version I wrote for Hampshire Guitar Orchestra which used 4 sizes of classical guitar. This arrangement has been re-worked to suit a conventional classical guitar quartet or large ensemble.It's easy to play and locks together well. Guitar 3 requires a Capo on the seventh fret (or an Alto Guitar could be used instead).
