Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Trio Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.796850 By Taylor Swift. By Johan Schuster, Max Martin, Shellback, and Taylor Swift. Arranged by Stephanie Daige. Pop. 8 pages. Stephanie Daige #3088453. Published by Stephanie Daige (A0.796850). This arrangement is great to play for or by students!  My trio plays this when we demonstrate woodwind instruments for third graders and they LOVE it, and we have fun playing it. This happy, fun song they recognize is a great way to get them excited about learning about woodwind instruments. It is also fun for a high school trio or advanced middle school trio to play. The key of F concert is comfortable for students. The alto sax plays the melody, the tenor sax has melody and harmony, and the baritone sax has the driving bass line that rounds out the harmonies and keeps the rhythm moving. This version is for saxophone trio, and there are other instrument combinations available.  Duration is 2:18.  Enjoy!

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Trio Alto Flute,Bassoon - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1273630 Composed by Martin J. Van Klompenberg. Chamber,Classical. 44 pages. Martin J. Van Klompenberg #865773. Published by Martin J. Van Klompenberg (A0.1273630). I spent six years of my life driving through the Arizona desert, memorizing I-10 between southern Phoenix and Tucson. The Sonoran Desert, while driving, can be both incredibly boring and amazingly exciting. The sand, rocks and cacti create an amazing, almost unending tapestry. On the outskirts of Phoenix, sits the Desert Horse Pass Casino. On dark, clear nights, the lights of this casino welcomed me home. They could be seen from miles ahead.  Neon Lights over Desert Skies is the juxtaposition of these two ideas. The eerie solace of the desert, immediately broken up the lights and sounds of the Desert Horse Pass. Starting with a barely audible four note motif in the bassoon, the opening is a chorale of subtle changes, never quite resolving, when it is interrupted by the increasing chaos on the casino floor, where slots machines, blackjack tables and frantic activity provide a stark contrast to the unbroken desert.

Saxophone Trio,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1405116 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Robert Stevens. Chamber,Classical. 60 pages. SAXpress.com #988156. Published by SAXpress.com (A0.1405116). Divertimento in B Flat (1783) K439b no 2 W. A. Mozart ((1756 – 1791)) Saxophone Trio, flexible instrumentation Divertimento in B Flat K.439b by Mozart, arranged for sax trio, flexible instrumentation. This is number two of a set of five divertimentos written around 1783. Originally, the works were written for 3 basset horns but were also performed by other wind and string ensembles. They are commonly performed by two clarinets and a bassoon today. This arrangement is for saxophone trio with flexible scoring.Divertimento in B Flat has five movements: Allegro (Common time, tempo around 124 bpm, B-flat major throughout, about 2.25 minutes) Minuetto 1 (3/4 time, tempo around 124-136 bpm, ABA form, B-flat major to E-flat major to B-flat, about 3.75 minutes) Larghetto (3/4 time, tempo around 60 bpm, B flat major throughout, about 4 minutes) Minuetto 2 (3/4 time, tempo around 136 – 144 bpm, ABA form, B-flat major to F to B-flat major, about 3.5 minutes) Rondo (2/4 time, tempo around 144 – 152 bpm, ABACA form, B-flat major except when the C section wanders to F minor, about 3.25 minutes) The first movement features a lively main theme and a carefree, somewhat mellow alternate theme. Minuet 1 has a graceful main theme and relaxed, somewhat playful trio section. The movement three Larghetto is slow and dreamy. It even seems to yawn when the music several times indulges in long pauses. The second Minuet movement is livelier and a bit more colorful and playful than the first with a lively trio section. The concluding Rondo (Allegro) is energetic and colorful, with syncopations and interesting key shifts to add interest. This version of Divertimento in B-flat includes the following parts: Full trio score (C score), 20pp Part 1 – soprano saxophone, 8pp Part 2 – soprano saxophone 2, 8pp Part 2 – alto saxophone, 8pp Part 3 – tenor saxophone, 8pp Part 3 – baritone saxophone, 8pp The printed score and parts are 9″x 12″. The alternate parts included with this arrangement allow a great deal of flexibility in your ensemble. The parts can be played in any combination as long as part one, two, and three are covered. Probably Soprano-Alto-Tenor or Soprano-Alto-Baritone would be the most common grouping. However, even though it is not specified on the parts, there is no reason the piece could not be played by a Tenor/Tenor/Baritone ensemble. Also if a bass sax is available it could certainly cover the part 3 tenor sax part.

Saxophone Trio,Woodwind Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1147505 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Ander. Christmas,Classical,Instructional,March,Romantic Period. 9 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #747743. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1147505). This arrangement adapted for sax trio was designed to make its listeners weep with emotion, because the adaptation preserves the original essence of the work, keeping its integrity faithful to what Beethoven wanted to transmit, with only a slight change in tone and addition of harmonic resources in the structure of the arrangement. Even though it is a funeral march, it is well suited for any musical performance occasion, being intended for beginner students who want to immerse themselves in the universe of romantic music, and nothing better than starting with the transitional composer of this period, which also does not prevent professional teachers from using it for recitals, academic presentations or didactic material in their classes as an ensemble practice. Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C minor sharp, Op. 27, No. 2, is one of his most popular compositions and was an audience favorite even in his day. Written when Beethoven was 31, the Moonlight Sonata (Mondscheinsonate in German) was composed after he finished some commissioned works, but there is no evidence that he was hired to write this work. It did not receive its nickname until 1832, five years after Beethoven's death. It was the critic Ludwig Rellstab who compared the music to a moonlighting on Lake Lucerne. This comparison was adopted as a nickname for the work. Called Quasi una fantasia by the author - like its companion Op. 27, No. 1 - the piece was completed in 1801 and dedicated the following year to one of the composer's pupils. Beethoven chose to open the sonata with a slow, hypnotic arpeggio movement, the best known of the entire work. The dotted rhythm of its minimal melody evokes the tradition of 'Trauermusik' (funeral music).

Saxophone Trio,Woodwind Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.844568 Composed by Charles Czerny. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Classical,Folk,Instructional. 17 pages. Phil Beaman #3904047. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844568). In 1853 Charles Czerny composed a set of 20 easy piano pieces which he called Amusement des Jeunes Amateurs (Amusement for Young Amateurs); they were subtitled Petites et Brillantes Recreations (Small and Brilliant Recreations).   Let's just say they are easy fun little pieces! All of the pieces were loosely based on a folk song or a popular theme from a classical composer. One of them was based on a popular folk Russian polka, so he called it Polka Russe.I have taken Polka Russe and freely arranged it for Instrumental Trio, using some of Czerny's themes, re-arranging them into parts, and also re-ordering them into my own Rondo. Form is Intro-ABACADA-Coda. I have broken up his melodies and spread them across all three parts; each part is of equal importance and each part independently adds to the stunning melodic weaving. Parts are mostly scales and arpeggios. It requires careful counting and close attention to rhythmic interplay, but sounds quite advanced and dramatic when all details are observed.    This piece is really quite Easy, I have just marked it Early Intermediate because of the Allegretto vivace tempo, the note range (two octaves), and the necessary counting. A fun piece to show your technique and musicianship as a group in any concert.  1:45 minutes, 8 pages score, 3 pages @ part

The familiar tune, Veni Emmanuel, was first linked with this hymn in 1851, when Thomas Helmore published it in the Hymnal Noted, paired with an early revision of Neale's English translation. While the Veni Emmanuel tune predominates in the English-speaking world, several others have been closely associated with the hymn.O Come, O Come, Emmanuel has been used in popular culture as a significant and enduring hymn, particularly during Advent and Christmas. Its universal themes of hope, longing, and the anticipation of the arrival of Jesus Christ have resonated with listeners of different generations, evoking strong emotions and connecting them to the deeper meaning of Christmas and Advent. The song's profound impact on listeners, touching hearts and stirring emotions, has contributed to its enduring popularity. Various artists have sung it, featuring it in numerous Christmas albums and performances, further solidifying its place in popular culture. Therefore, O Come, O Come, Emmanuel holds a special significance in popular culture due to its timeless message and emotional impact on listeners.
