Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Digital Download SKU: A0.883788 Composed by Hector Fiocco. Arranged by Phil Lawrence. Baroque,Concert. Score and parts. 10 pages. Phillip Lawrence #5308369. Published by Phillip Lawrence (A0.883788). First recorded by my teacher Alan Stringer to which this arrangement is dedicated to, accompanied by the organist of the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Noel Rawsthorn recording it in 1974 under the CRD label. The album repertoire mostly chosen by Alan was from the trumpet repertoire itself Noel suggested that this wonderful late baroque organ moment by Fiocco would suite the instrument well and also make a good contrast to the album. Some years later in 1986, I managed to use the piece with Noel Rawsthorn’s pupil and now organist of the Anglican, Ian Tracy in a recital in the Lady Chapel in the Anglican. I played from the top line organ part and Ian in a true baroque style filled out the rest from a meager bass line. So I now present it in full and with a choice of trumpets for the ubiquitous trumpet and organ recital, for piccolo A, picc G, tpt in Eb and tpt in D parts included.
Andante by Hector Fiocco arr for Trumpet (Picc A, G, or D or Eb tpt).

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.844666 Composed by Jeno Hubay. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Romantic Period,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 4 pages. Phil Beaman #4897187. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844666). Maggiolata is the Italian name of an ancient Spring Festival celebrated on May 1st, hence the subtitle Song of May. Jeno Hubay, Head of the Violin Dept at the Budapest Academy of Music, wrote this piece to be as light and celebratory as a perfect spring day. My arrangement abridges and slightly simplifies this classical standard. I reduced it from 6 1/2 minutes to 2 1/2 minutes by focusing on the recapitulation of the main theme but also included opening and closing cadenzas. Most of the expression markings are my own additions. I have scored it as an Instrumental Solo with an Organ accompaniment but a Piano accompaniment could be easily adapted from this. This arrangement, with an octave and a half solo range, is easy enough to be accessible for most players and its beautiful melody will have you singing and longing for spring.  3 page score, 1 page part5:00 minutes with repeatrecording is Violin and piano version

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028814 Composed by Anthony Just. Christian,Contemporary,Sacred,Wedding. Score and parts. 2 pages. Justified Notes Music Group #4296771. Published by Justified Notes Music Group (A0.1028814). This piece for C-Trumpet and Organ was written as a Wedding Processional for the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, KY, and first performed by the Cathedral's organist, Dr. Philip Brisson. It has since been added to the Cathedral's regular rotation of Mass processionals. Quod Deus Coniunxit is the first line of the verse Therefore what God has joined together, let no man put asunder. The piece shows two people as two voices (in this case, trumpet and organ) interweaving harmonies, passing the melody between them, symbolizing the joyful collaboration and triumphant celebration in two people becoming one. As the trumpet fades out in section D, the minor, discordant organ melody symbolizes difficulties and hard work. The symbolism continues as the trumpet fades back in, supporting the organ, ushering the melody back to a major chord in section E, as they work together towards a triumphant finish.Since this piece was composed as a processional for specific location, the length was written to fit the bride's 75 step procession. But it was deliberately written in sections to be flexible. The piece can (and should) be altered to fit the venue.  The trumpet flourish in A, meant as a call to attention, can be omitted if desired.  Section B can be repeated, and/or Section E can be omitted or repeated, to suit the necessary length.I hope you enjoy this piece!Anthony Just
