Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028814 Composed by Anthony Just. Christian,Contemporary,Sacred,Wedding. Score and parts. 2 pages. Justified Notes Music Group #4296771. Published by Justified Notes Music Group (A0.1028814). This piece for C-Trumpet and Organ was written as a Wedding Processional for the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, KY, and first performed by the Cathedral's organist, Dr. Philip Brisson. It has since been added to the Cathedral's regular rotation of Mass processionals. Quod Deus Coniunxit is the first line of the verse Therefore what God has joined together, let no man put asunder. The piece shows two people as two voices (in this case, trumpet and organ) interweaving harmonies, passing the melody between them, symbolizing the joyful collaboration and triumphant celebration in two people becoming one. As the trumpet fades out in section D, the minor, discordant organ melody symbolizes difficulties and hard work. The symbolism continues as the trumpet fades back in, supporting the organ, ushering the melody back to a major chord in section E, as they work together towards a triumphant finish.Since this piece was composed as a processional for specific location, the length was written to fit the bride's 75 step procession. But it was deliberately written in sections to be flexible. The piece can (and should) be altered to fit the venue.  The trumpet flourish in A, meant as a call to attention, can be omitted if desired.  Section B can be repeated, and/or Section E can be omitted or repeated, to suit the necessary length.I hope you enjoy this piece!Anthony Just

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534512 Composed by Jean-Thierry Boisseau. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 37 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3577739. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.534512). This is a mini-concerto or a concerto de poche. The role of the organ and much more than a simple accompagnement. The work is, as one would wish to see traditionally, a kind of discussion between the two brotehr, first in agreement, then in disagreement and finally in agreement, centered around the same brief musical phrase. The work is deliberately tonal and neo-classical. It integrates different styles of profane and sacred music, without avoiding pastiche or even a musical quote. The registration indicated puts the trumpet in competition with certain organ stops, the reeds in particular. There is also use, if possible, for the traditional effections of the organ swell. It is suggested, never the less, to take care that the timbre of the trumpet is matched by those of the organ and also to use rubato moderately, only taking time during fermatas. This is a joyful work which the short Choral at the end of the first third, with its false Gregorian Theme, will never make it into a completely “serious†work. The set includes parts for Bb and C trumpets

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.844666 Composed by Jeno Hubay. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Romantic Period,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 4 pages. Phil Beaman #4897187. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844666). Maggiolata is the Italian name of an ancient Spring Festival celebrated on May 1st, hence the subtitle Song of May. Jeno Hubay, Head of the Violin Dept at the Budapest Academy of Music, wrote this piece to be as light and celebratory as a perfect spring day. My arrangement abridges and slightly simplifies this classical standard. I reduced it from 6 1/2 minutes to 2 1/2 minutes by focusing on the recapitulation of the main theme but also included opening and closing cadenzas. Most of the expression markings are my own additions. I have scored it as an Instrumental Solo with an Organ accompaniment but a Piano accompaniment could be easily adapted from this. This arrangement, with an octave and a half solo range, is easy enough to be accessible for most players and its beautiful melody will have you singing and longing for spring.  3 page score, 1 page part5:00 minutes with repeatrecording is Violin and piano version

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.894392 Composed by Zack Richards. Christian,Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Score and parts. 5 pages. Zack Richards #5207339. Published by Zack Richards (A0.894392). I wrote Out of the Darkness as a companion piece to Into His Light, which is also available on my website. The melodic content is inspired by the melody of Into His Light, however, it is written in a much darker style.  The use of C minor, dissonant suspensions, and darker harmonies all help to paint the dark mood.  The final chord changes to C major to aid both in the idea of coming Out of the Darkness and to set up the transition to Into His Light.  The two companion pieces can be played consecutively or separately, whichever works best for the situation.Trumpet Solo and OrganIntermediateApprox. 2:15Visit zackrichards.com for more from this composer!

Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Baroque,Easter,Multicultural,Sacred,Spiritual,World. 20 pages. O'Meara Music #6864871. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.804235). In 820 Louis the Pious, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire heard Theodulph of Orleans singing his hymn while under house arrest. Louis was so inspired by the hymn that he released Theodulph.
