Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.844666 Composed by Jeno Hubay. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Romantic Period,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 4 pages. Phil Beaman #4897187. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844666). Maggiolata is the Italian name of an ancient Spring Festival celebrated on May 1st, hence the subtitle Song of May. Jeno Hubay, Head of the Violin Dept at the Budapest Academy of Music, wrote this piece to be as light and celebratory as a perfect spring day. My arrangement abridges and slightly simplifies this classical standard. I reduced it from 6 1/2 minutes to 2 1/2 minutes by focusing on the recapitulation of the main theme but also included opening and closing cadenzas. Most of the expression markings are my own additions. I have scored it as an Instrumental Solo with an Organ accompaniment but a Piano accompaniment could be easily adapted from this. This arrangement, with an octave and a half solo range, is easy enough to be accessible for most players and its beautiful melody will have you singing and longing for spring.  3 page score, 1 page part5:00 minutes with repeatrecording is Violin and piano version

Trumpet and organ - intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q6538 Composed by Enjott Schneider. This edition: Sheet music. La Tromba. Downloadable. Duration 8' 40. Schott Music - Digital #Q6538. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q6538). This work explores the mood and events at Jesus' last appearance before his arrest in the garden of Gethsemane. The Gospels say that this incident was fraught, with three occasions of urgent prayer as well as his warnings to the disciples to stay awake and provide support in the last fearful hours. All motifs are based on a tone row expressing the recurrent theme of urgent and desperate praying. The freely moving line of the trumpet refers to Jesus' spirituality already detached from all earthly things, while he, surrounded by his band of disciples, becomes aware of his uniqueness and loneliness.

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028814 Composed by Anthony Just. Christian,Contemporary,Sacred,Wedding. Score and parts. 2 pages. Justified Notes Music Group #4296771. Published by Justified Notes Music Group (A0.1028814). This piece for C-Trumpet and Organ was written as a Wedding Processional for the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, KY, and first performed by the Cathedral's organist, Dr. Philip Brisson. It has since been added to the Cathedral's regular rotation of Mass processionals. Quod Deus Coniunxit is the first line of the verse Therefore what God has joined together, let no man put asunder. The piece shows two people as two voices (in this case, trumpet and organ) interweaving harmonies, passing the melody between them, symbolizing the joyful collaboration and triumphant celebration in two people becoming one. As the trumpet fades out in section D, the minor, discordant organ melody symbolizes difficulties and hard work. The symbolism continues as the trumpet fades back in, supporting the organ, ushering the melody back to a major chord in section E, as they work together towards a triumphant finish.Since this piece was composed as a processional for specific location, the length was written to fit the bride's 75 step procession. But it was deliberately written in sections to be flexible. The piece can (and should) be altered to fit the venue.  The trumpet flourish in A, meant as a call to attention, can be omitted if desired.  Section B can be repeated, and/or Section E can be omitted or repeated, to suit the necessary length.I hope you enjoy this piece!Anthony Just
