Apples and Oranges: features inverted melodies that trade between the bassoon and piano 3. Yellow Bellied: this slinking movement slides between major and minor. 4. Green-Eyed Monster: aggressive and sliding, this miniature focuses on slurs and phrasing. 5. Feelin' Blue: inspired by bluesey scales, this miniature features a long, slow ritardando at the end. 6.
