About this book

This book aims to put some pieces from the classical Arabic repertoire in a form that can be presented in any classical chamber music concert along with the occidental repertoire, willing to give the Arabic music the opportunity to be performed more often by any professional musician, regardless of his musical background and languages, and to occupy a status in the program of the chamber music concerts worldwide.

This is the piano accompaniment book to go along with a transcription for all instruments (C, Bb, F, Eb, Bass Clef, Tenor Clef, Alto Clef, Tuba books are available and interchangeable) of a set of intermediate tuba etudes depicting various holidays throughout the year. These etudes received first prize in the Tuba Universal Brotherhood Association’s 1996 Composition Competition. The etudes are published in duet form in order for them to be used as either an etude book and/or a duet. The second part is designed to be playable by the teacher or a more advanced student. There is a piano accompaniment book designed to accompany either the etude or duet. The alto and tenor clef books can be used for practice in these clefs for bassoonists and trombonists. Le Basque is the fifth dance in a series of Cinques Dances Anciennes Françaises (Five Old French Dances). The arrangement is meant as a study for Advanced Intermediate Clarinet players with a Piano Accompaniment, but can also be played by other instruments that are in b-flat, such as Soprano Sax, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, and Euphonium (treble clef). The key signature is in concert Eb-flat (transposing F for the Clarinet).
