Piano Accompaniment - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1365444 By Amy J. Snyder. By Tom and Amy Snyder. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder. Broadway,Comedy,Musical/Show,Opera. Accompaniment. Duration 324. Amy J. Snyder #949771. Published by Amy J. Snyder (A0.1365444). MP3 piano accompaniment for The Baker of Savannah by Tom and Amy Snyder. PDF of baritone/tenor solo available. This fun operetta is a humorous story about a baker who started losing business due to people eating better and dieting. He struggled with depression and was tempted to give up his business, but then remembers what his dear, old Papa would always say. The story has a happy ending! The music is energetic overall, with a touch of melancholy in appropriate places to match the story line. There's a bit of borrowing a tune from The Barber of Seville which is quite catchy! The music runs about 5 1/2 minutes, and begins with an introduction to the story that can be sung by a 2nd person. There are 5 different musical themes. Overall the range is good for baritone through tenor; great for a male voice from B1-G3. This song is great for school concerts, entertaining, or just for fun. Lyrics written by Tom Snyder (T.C. Snyder, the author), and music written by Amy J. Snyder. Copyright 2016 Amy J Snyder.
